FC 26 maintenance (Jan. 14): When will the servers be back EA Sports has announced a new maintenance for FC 26 that will take place today across all platforms, and it will heavily impact online connectivity. This is the first major maintenance in the new year, and it comes ahead of the TOTY celebrations. Thankfully, EA Sports has announced the complete schedule that will allow you to keep track of when the servers will be down. FC 26 server maintenance details (Jan. 14) The servers will go down before the maintenance actually begins. Today's maintenance starts 11pm ET/1am CT/2am ET/7am UTC across all platforms. Older titles like FC 25 will also be down when the maintenance is live. Matchmaking will go down 30 minutes before the actual maintenance begins. The maintenance is scheduled to last for five hours. Unless there are delays, the maintenance should be over by 4am ET/6am CT/7am ET/12am UTC. That said, there can always be delays during maintenance. Modes like Ultimate Team will also become inaccessible. You should still be able to enjoy content on the Web app and Companion app. However, logging in via your PC/console should be disabled. Even if you manage to get in, trying to start a fresh match will result in an error. It will be interesting to find out if EA Sports will be making any live tuning upgrades during the maintenance. The last major patch, Title Update 1.4.0, came out earlier in January, and it made some heavy changes to AI-defending and movement. Of course, this maintenance might be in preparation for the upcoming TOTY promo . All FC 26 TOTY promo players (Leaks) We are still a few days away from the expected start of the TOTY promo in FC 26 , but the first set of leaks has already started to appear on social media. Of course, we have the first confirmed card (of sorts), thanks to a promotion from EA Sports. Swedish Icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be part of the Team of the Year promo, but he won't be alone. While the main team will be selected by votes (there are more parameters), more cards will also be present by way of the Honorable Mentions and Icons. All FC 26 TOTY players (Leaks) The following Icons have been leaked on social media. Zlatan Ibrahimovic Lilian Thuram Jairzinho All versions of TOTY Icons will have double playstyle+, keeping to last year's trends. All three leaked cards could also be present in packs. We should be getting more leaks as we get closer to the release date of the promo. The full set of TOTY starting lineups have also been leaked online. The TOTY promo is also expected to feature Flashback SBCs, highlighting footballers who were part of previous Team of the Year promos. Last year, we had some excellent Flashback SBCs to complete. It will be interesting who we get this time around. There are also rumors of Icon Swaps returning during the TOTY promo. The Icon Swaps have been a popular feature of older Ultimate Team festivities. All FC 26 TOTY promo squads release countdowns: All dates and times January 12 marks the end of TOTY votes, and it's not long before the Team of the Year promo will arrive in FC 26 Ultimate Team. The popular promo is already being teased on social media by EA Sports, but they haven't announced an exact release date. That said, certain predictions can be made based on when Time Warp ends, and how the upcoming promo could be structured. Typically, Ultimate Team campaigns have one/two teams that are released on Fridays. TOTY, on the other hand, will have multiple team releases based on positions. The core teams will be divided into the following positions: attackers, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers. Defenders and goalkeepers will be clubbed together. The following countdowns will expire once the respective teams go live. However, the countdowns are still speculation as of writing. Any change from EA Sports will be updated on the countdowns.
