Peach Farmer Season 22 is now live!
Peach Farmer Season 22 is now live!Peach Farmer, a game we saw place at the Very Big Indie Pitch last year, has had a large content update for Season 22. Peach Farmer is more than just another TGC collecting card game. In it, you can collect Boosters to discover new cards, build your collection, and then unlock a crafting system that has you spending Dust and Elixir to take duplicate cards, burn them, and use them to create something new. The cards themselves in Peach Farmer represent real-life Peach Stars, often exclusive to the game itself. You can collect them to win real-life rewards. It's the concept of a collectable card game, but with sets that really matter!  ... [ MORE ]

Dora: Explore and Play! brings a modern take on the classic preschool adventure
Dora: Explore and Play! brings a modern take on the classic preschool adventureBudge Studios entered into mobile games with Dora the Explorer. That was 2010, and over two billion downloads ago. Sixteen years later, the studio is back where it started. Dora: Explore and Play! is out now on iOS and Android. It’s not just nostalgia because this really looks like a reimagining of what a Dora game can be in 2026. It’s the perfect starter for toddlers and preschool-aged kids into the world of Dora. Familiar locations like Dora’s Castle and the Tallest Mountain will give the younger audiences something to anchor to. The structure is also loose enough so that exploration feels like wandering through these places instead of just ticking things off a list. ... [ MORE ]

Pocket Gamer 20th anniversary: Tower defense staples, Supercell's standards and MMO royalty
Pocket Gamer 20th anniversary: Tower defense staples, Supercell's standards and MMO royaltyToday, we're focusing on the penultimate year in our Pocket Gamer 20th anniversary celebrations. That's 2024 if you've been keeping up. It's strange to think we've almost reached the end, covering two decades in which the face of mobile gaming has changed multiple times. And yet, whether it's the dominance of free-to-play or the rise of subscription services, we're never short of something great to enjoy, even if you despise those two things. But before we get too deep into that, let's remind ourselves what was going on elsewhere. At the cinema, Deadpool & Wolverine stepped into the MCU in a film that genuinely surprised me. I'd never quite bought into the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool hype, but this was good fun. Elsewhere, Sonic the Hedgehog's cinematic turn continued to impress with the third entry, while Ariana Grande realised a lifelong dream by playing Glinda in Wicked.  ... [ MORE ]

Clay Jam Classic review - "Still fun and colorful!"
Clay Jam Classic review - "Still fun and colorful!"In 2012, when Clay Jam first came out, I did not have a smartphone. I'm not exactly sure what I was doing, beyond primarily gaming on PC, but I did have love for claymation. So, when I saw that Clay Jam was rereleasing in 2026, as Clay Jam Classic, without any of the in-app purchases that previously were in the game, I wanted to see if it stood the test of time! Clay Jam Classic is a particularly simple mobile game, where you can draw a sort of path within the clay hill that a ball is rolling on, moving that ball around the map. You'll be aiming to roll over a bunch of other clay creatures and items on each map, making yourself bigger so that you can then speed roll to a monster (often called a bully) at the end of the level, blasting them off. When you first start, as you are so small, you can only go over a few of the enemy types that do have have exclamation marks over them. If you hit things which are too big, you will lose some of your clay and get bounced back. Moving forward also feels mandatory, as a red fog will continue to climb the screen, looking to eat you up before you even get to hit the bully! ... [ MORE ]

Ninja Gangsters launches its cyberpunk idle RPG goodness with a 7-day login event
Ninja Gangsters launches its cyberpunk idle RPG goodness with a 7-day login eventThere are ninjas, there are gangsters, and there are Ninja Gangsters - honestly, the title alone is enough to catch my attention.  The idle RPG features a cyberpunk world where you auto-battle your way through the mean streets of Neo-City, where machines and ancient ninjas are aplenty. It's an interesting setting, and when you add the fully idle auto-growth system into the mix, it's incredibly appealing for lazy ol' me. ... [ MORE ]

Dark Tap Dice launches on iOS and Android with some Balatro-esque chaotic fun
Dark Tap Dice launches on iOS and Android with some Balatro-esque chaotic funEver since Balatro took the world by storm, we've had a string of poker-slash-dice games popping up everywhere, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. This Ain't Even Poker, Ya Joker is probably the latest one that's caught our eye here at PG Towers, and now, there's Dark Tap Dice too, which honestly seems to have the right amount of chaos and fun to make it an instant dopamine hit. So, essentially, you'll simply have to place your dice into slots and operate on a poker-esque mechanic, where you form combos like Five-of-a-Kind and One Pair. Obviously, things escalate pretty fast, and when you hit certain combos, it all turns into satisfying damage multipliers with numbers invading your screen in the best way. ... [ MORE ]

Paranoize launches its fully voiced cinematic comic, with creature-collecting elements thrown in
Paranoize launches its fully voiced cinematic comic, with creature-collecting elements thrown inAt first glance, I initially thought Paranoize might be similar to Gnosia, mainly because the App Store subtitle has "Who's the cannibal among us?" as its description. A closer inspection clearly shows it's entirely different, and as Iwan first noted when he talked about it in January, it's mainly because it's got a creature-collecting element to it that honestly feels welcome. Now that it's officially out on iOS and Android, I'm curious to see how it blends that kind of content with its fully voiced cinematic comic, because the story really does look interesting. For one thing, there are man-eating monsters preying on humanity from the shadows. For another, said man-eating monsters want to join your team. ... [ MORE ]

Darklord: Vampire Survival launches its isometric survival RPG with roguelike progressionWell, it was teased three weeks ago, but now we're here - Darklord: Vampire Survival has officially launched on iOS and Android, offering another vampire-themed adventure for you to sink your fangs into.  The survival RPG offers plenty of action-packed combat and even roguelike progression, it seems, but I suppose if you're a fan of this dark era, the aesthetics alone should be enough to appeal to you.  ...
