Overwatch 2 Fans Mistake Fortnite’s Kado Thorne for a Lifeweaver Skin but That Crossover Is Impossible

In the world of gaming, Overwatch 2 and Fortnite hold some heavy ground. However, they are not just influential in casual gaming, as these two titles have played pivotal roles in putting Esports into the same bracket as conventional sports. However, in casual plays, the battle royale title from Epic Games is far ahead.

This game holds the position for the most-played title of all time. Also, it ranked top in last month’s most engaged titles list as well. However, both the titles are unique on their own and both have separate fanbases as well. Still, there is one uncanny similarity between these two titles that isn’t missed by the players.

On many occasions, popular games become more famous for their intricate rosters. For example, Marvel Rivals has recently added Wolverine as a hero to its roster, and because of that, the anticipation regarding the game knows no boundaries now.

Similarly, both Overwatch 2 and Fortnite feature many popular characters. However, there are two characters in these two games, respectively, who share striking similarities between them.

What in the Fortnite

Fortnite‘s Kado Thorne looks almost similar to Moira O’Deorain from Overwatch 2. The former is a Legendary Outfit in Fortnite, whereas Moira is a Support hero in Overwatch. If we dig deeper into the past of Kado Thorne, then we can find that he is actually an ancient vampire, who serves as a major antagonist in Chapter 4 Season 3 of the battle royale.

On the other hand, Moira is a healer in Blizzard’s hero shooter who can refill her resources when she inflicts damage upon her enemies with her main attack. This uncanny resemblance has baffled the whole community.

So, is there any chance that we can see an epic collaboration based on these two characters between these two popular games? Absolutely not. Yeah, it’s true Fortnite is the king of collaborations, and no other game ever has made crossovers like this battle royale title.

But in any kind of collab, we have never seen original Fortnite characters taking entry in other universes; it’s always the other way around. Epic Games has been crafting its own metaverse over the years, not just its own characters getting featured in other dimensions.

Fortnite OG Is Back (Once Again)

The first season of Fortnite OG takes the game back to its inception when Epic’s wildly popular platform was just a survival game experimenting with battle royale. The game’s original island is making a comeback with the relaunch of Fortnite OG, which was formerly a one-month special event in 2023. However, this time, Fortnite OG is a new permanent mode in the game.

It will be filled with all the same sights, sounds, and weapons as before. There will even be a new Fortnite OG battle pass simply called the OG Pass. However, there will also be a few noticeable differences between this version of early Fortnite and the real thing back in 2017.

Some players prefer the battle pass over everything else, just like in the main battle royale mode. Fortnite OG offers a 45-tier battle pass called the OG Pass, which is fortunate for those players. Three new characters based on faces from Fortnite‘s history are included in this pass. They all have different outfits and accessories, as well as gliders that mimic the iconic Chapter 1 appearance.

On December 6, Fortnite OG will resume. Chapter 1 Season 1 from 2017 will be reflected in this launch version, and subsequent seasons of Chapter 1 will also be available in game mode.
