For the Destiny 2 Fanatics: Top 5 Must-Try Builds After The Final Shape

Bungie’s Destiny 2 recently got a major expansion pack called The Final Shape, putting Guardians against the franchise’s major villain, the Witness. The expansion added various new things to the game such as a new Prismatic subclass to the game, a new enemy faction, and the conclusion of the ongoing storyline.

While playing the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign, the Prismatic subclass will be unlocked at some point, proving to be very useful for the rest of the campaign. The following list also features the Prismatic subclass along with non-Prismatic subclass builds.

Destiny 2 Players Need To Try These 5 Powerful Builds

The battle against The Witness will not be easy so here are 5 builds for Titan, Warlock, and Hunter in Destiny 2 that players should definitely try out while completing the Destiny 2: The Final Shape campaign.

5) Solar Hunter

Exotic: Lucky Pants

Subclass: Solar

Super: Blade Barrage

Class Ability: Gamblers Dodge

Melee: Knife Trick

Grenade: Healing

Aspects: Knock ‘Em Down, On Your Mark

Fragments: Ember of Torches, Ember of Singeing, Ember of Empyrean, Ember of Searing, and Ember of Mercy.

Lucky Pants allows Hunters to deal more damage for a short time while the Solar subclass is chosen for its ability to boost weapon damage with Radiant. The Blade Barrage is the perfect Super for this build thanks to its short cooldown and ability to take out many enemies.

Knife Trick Melee is for dealing with multiple enemies, and Gamblers Dodge Class Ability to recharge Melee. For Grenade, pick the Healing variant so you can continue fighting with enough health.

4) Prismatic Hunter

Exotic: Liar’s Handshake

Subclass: Prismatic

Super: Silence and Squall

Class Ability: Gambler’s Dodge

Melee: Combination Blow

Grenade: Duskfield Grenade

Aspects: Winter’s Shroud, Stylish Executioner

Fragments: Facet of Purpose, Facet of Ruin, Facet of Protection, Facet of Dawn, and Facet of Courage

The Liar’s Handshake Exotic has been picked for this build since it grants 200% bonus melee damage and additional healing. The Super for this class will be Silence and Squall as it significantly helps in slowing down the enemies when combined with the Facet of Purpose fragment.

Gambler’s Dodge is used to recharge the Duskfield Grenade. Keep in mind that landing a final blow with Combination Blow also fully refills your class ability, which then refills your Grenade.

3) Strand Titan

Fragments: Thread of Generation, Thread of Fury, Thread of Warding, and Thread of Continuity

The perfect Exotic for this build is Synthocep since it increases your melee and super damage and at the same time, increases reloading and handling for weapons.

Bladefury is a good choice as it is the strongest roaming Super for Titans, increasing melee damage and speed to slice any enemy. Sever your targets with Frenzied Blade and use the Grapple grenade for swift movement.

Not just Super, but Hellion also works well with Phoenix Dive, which also heals you. For grenade, pick Storm Grenade Arcane Needle melee to get the Unravel debuff.
