Khvostov is an Exotic 600 RPM auto rifle that’s absolutely smashing it in PvP. Boasting high aim assist, the gun is incredibly smooth to handle and easy to use. It’s got solid range, great TTK, high stability, and consistent damage. But what really sets it apart is its unique perk synergy. Shoot to Loot allows you to pick up ammo and Orbs of Power just by firing at them, auto-reloading all your weapons on ammo pick-up. With The Right Choice Exotic perk, your bullets can bounce to nearby targets, while Eyes Up, Guardian grants additional damage and extra ricochets, stacking up to seven times. All of that makes Khvostov extremely lethal — a true force to be reckoned with and a fantastic choice for any PvP adventure.
This one is a 340 RPM pulse rifle that you can snag from Onslaught. Stat-wise, it’s a powerhouse with a fantastic TTK of 0.67 seconds, a quick reload speed, and excellent handling, especially for a gun of this type. On top of that, Elsie’s Rifle has an incredible perk pool, including Zen Moment for added stability and flinch mitigation, plus Kill Clip or Desperate Measures to amp up your damage output and make those shots much deadlier.
Graviton Lance is a two-round burst 324 RPM Exotic pulse rifle that you can get as a random drop or buy at Xur’s. It comes with great stability and aim assist, along with a whopping 90 range stat when buffed with the Catalyst. When you kill an enemy, the Cosmology perk will make them blow up and send out Void projectiles to nearby targets, delivering satisfying explosive multi-kills. And with Vorpal Weapon as the cherry on top, you’ll deal extra damage against Guardians using their Supers.
Red Death Reformed is a high-impact pulse rifle available from the Exotic kiosk in the Tower. It’s a very forgiving weapon due to its excellent stability and impressive range, so you don’t have to be a perfect shot to land those hits with ease. Its Exotic trait goes even further by increasing handling, reducing flinch, and boosting your movement whenever you deal damage with the weapon, which makes it a lot easier for you to strafe and stay mobile. On top of that, each final blow with Red Death heals you and boosts your reload speed. Reloading after a kill will heal nearby allies, and with the Exotic Catalyst, a double kill will restore even more of your health. All in all, we get an outstanding support weapon with great damage output, which makes a terrific combo for high-stakes PvP.
No PvP loadout is complete without Ace of Spades, and that’s a fact. This 140 RPM Exotic hand cannon has become a staple in the PvP meta and is a must-have for any Guardian who is serious about their PvP performance. If you haven’t yet acquired it, make your way to the Exotic kiosk right now as this beauty is well worth every Cipher and Glimmer you spend on it. The base stats are simply exceptional, especially the impressive range that’s really rare for hand cannons. But what truly makes Ace of Spades an S-tier choice are its Exotic perks: Firefly adds explosive damage on precision kills, and Memento Mori is basically an infinite Kill Clip, powering up your shots and keeping your radar active while aiming down sights.
Bygones is a legendary pulse rifle you can farm out in Gambit. While 390 RPM isn’t typically the strongest archetype, with the damage boost from the High Ground perk, this rifle transforms into a real beast. All you need to do is take a higher position — something you’ll likely do anyway with a pulse rifle — and you’ll instantly get maximum stacks of bonus damage to tear those enemy Guardians to shreds. For improved accuracy, you can also add Zen Moment to counter flinch and make the gun more stable.
Rose is a 140 RPM legendary hand cannon you can get from Shaxx by playing Competitive. It’s a lightweight frame HC that grants +20 to your Mobility stat and speeds up your Dodge cooldown if you play as a Hunter. Rose also has some really cool perks to choose from, including Slideshot, Rapid Hit, Snapshot, Eye of the Storm, and Explosive Payload. Plus, it can roll with Vorpal Weapon, which is incredibly helpful in Trials. When enemies start using their Supers, Vorpal’s extra damage can give you the edge to take them down and even secure a win.
Last but definitely not least on our list is Conditional Finality, an Exotic shotgun obtainable from the Root of Nightmares raid. Its range, to be honest, is not exactly top-tier, but having 80 for handling, this shotty makes up for its weaker spot just fine. Overall, Conditional Finality delivers very consistent damage and is great for shutting down Supers. Thanks to its dual barrel, it also has perfect synergy with both Stasis and Solar builds, which helps it fit well into lots of PvP strategies and playstyles.
