Fortnite Made 1 Mistake During Chapter 5 Season 3 That Ended Up Ruining the Season for Most

Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 3 is inching closer to its end as players gear up for the next adventure. It is a season marked by chaos and destruction, dominated mainly by rampaging cars. While it is undoubtedly one of the most unique seasons we have ever seen in the game, there is one major gripe that every player has had throughout its run.

We saw many new weapons and mechanics introduced in the game this season. However, nothing compares to the impact that Magneto Power (gloves) has had, both positive and negative. It is certainly one of the most busted weapons we have ever seen in the game, ultimately leaving a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

How Magneto Power Became the Most Hated Weapon in Fortnite

Magneto Power, also commonly known as Magneto gloves, is a weapon introduced in the middle of Chapter 5, Season 3 of Fortnite. A rare item in the game, it is one of those weapons capable of doing everything. Not only is it great for dealing with damage, but it is also an excellent defensive item.

The issue with the item is that it has little to no counterplay. With high damage of 95 (415 to vehicles) and no projectile/ bullet drop, players using the Magneto Power find it very easy to deal damage even from far distances. Furthermore, it also provides a 400 HP shield that can block incoming damage and even vehicles.

According to user u/u/Cheap_Quantity_1295, the item essentially “ruined” the season. Many other users piled up on the issue, lamenting it as unbalanced and overpowered.

The Current Season Has Been A Mixed Bag

Regarding the current season of “Wrecked,” it’s fair to say that vehicles are its essence. Adding weapons to vehicles and general enhancements have made them a force to be reckoned with and something that is to be used in every match.

Despite the new and unique introductions, the seasons have received a mixed reception. While it’s cool to run rampant with vehicles in the match, it has also reduced the amount of gun gameplay. This has led to many complaints, especially regarding the chaotic nature and unpredictable gameplay.

Despite everything, Chapter 5, Season 3 will surely go down as one of the most memorable and unique seasons from Epic Games. It will end on August 15, so if you are craving some action or there are battle pass rewards to claim, this might be the time to do it.
