Is Starfield On PS5?

One question people are asking lately is whether Starfield is coming to PS5. Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield is undoubtedly one of the biggest Xbox console releases of the past few years, and has attracted a lot of attention by critics and gamers alike. The game offers a sprawling science-fiction world to explore ripe with compelling characters, but what’s on the cards for Sony console owners? Is there going to be a Starfield PS5 release? Is Starfield On PS5 – Will Bethesda’s Epic Sci-Fi RPG Arrive On Sony’s Console?

Unfortunately, Bethesda has confirmed unequivocally that there will be no Starfield PS5 release. Microsoft’s acquisition of Bethesda parent company ZeniMax Media means that Starfield is exclusive to Xbox Series X/S and PC, with no PS5 version planned. Phil Spencer, head of Microsoft’s Xbox division, said last year that he ‘never said’ that the sci-fi RPG wouldn’t be exclusive to Xbox, so it sounds like a PS5 version was never a possibility. However, back in March 2023, Sony claimed (via the CMA) that both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI were not Xbox exclusives prior to the ZeniMax acquisition.
