Exactly one year ago, Starfield allowed explorers the ability to travel the Settled Systems and today, Shattered Space has revealed new details ahead of the Sept 30 launch.
Starfield has been available to add to gamer libraries for exactly one year now, and on this big birthday, Bethesda has taken the liberty of pulling back the curtain on a few key details surrounding the first expansion of Starfield, Shattered Space. For weeks, Bethesda has been teasing the upcoming expansion release until today on Starfield‘s birthday, where they’ve given a few more details including a release date that takes off at the end of the month.
Starfield appears to be correcting many of the issues players faced with the base game in Shattered Space. This includes the aforementioned loading screens (which double as spaceship docking cutscenes), and the feeling that players continuously explore the same planet multiple times with the same structures littering each landscape. Shattered Space discards the need for that, and places most content in one sandbox rather than spread across many sandboxes, allowing a bigger game experience in a smaller setting.
Starfield: Shattered Space launches on September 30.
