GTA 6 has been the center of a fan frenzy ever since its scheduled 2025 launch was announced. The game has been proposed as the “biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.” on its website.
Now developer updates have suggested that Rockstar Games are set to take some of the iconic features of Red Dead Redemption 2 and emulate them in the crime-infested neon-covered Vice City in the state of Leonida.
Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to be a stalwart entry in the field of gaming that gained worldwide critical appreciation, not just as a game, but also for its enhanced storyline. And now, by the looks of it, Rockstar Games are set to combine the features of the game with the already existing, vibrant open world of Vice City.
A PlayStation developer had shared a post and wrote multiple comments in the thread about all the supposed features that are going to be there in GTA 6. Quite unsurprisingly, a lot of the features of cult classic Red Dead Redemption 2 have been mentioned, considering it is the most critically acclaimed game from Rockstar Games.
A user shared the post on Reddit and quite understandably fans have delved into lively discussions.
One of the defining features of Red Dead Redemption 2 was the way one could use the Eagle Eye to interact with animals and objects and track enemies as Arthur Morgan and John Marston. Players can expect to track threats and interact with their surroundings as Lucia and Jason via the Eagle Eye.
The NPC interactions menu is going to feature for the first time in the Grand Theft Auto franchise as it hopes to give players an even more realistic experience of its already chaotic world. While GTA V had random NPC interactions too, they were far too few.
Much like RDR2, GTA 6 is set to feature a vehicle discovery system. Any vehicle, once discovered, will become a part of the player’s discovery section. There will be vehicle class-specific requirements that can be fulfilled to unlock new vehicle mods.
The fact that the game map will evolve has already gotten fans speculating on what could it be with some considering it the ‘biggest thing’ in the series of posts.
No wonder fans are relishing the prospect of razing a building to the ground only to find it replaced by something else a few in-game days later. Or maybe certain places change over time as the game story evolves. In Red Dead Redemption 2 the map used to grow along with the story showcasing the influence of the various factions in the game. Fans can expect something akin to that in GTA 6.
However, nothing is set in stone as there have been no official updates as of now regarding these matters. However, the gaming communities on Reddit are usually filled with devs who are working on massive projects like this. So, there is a good chance that whatever is mentioned in these posts will actually make it into the game.
What do you like the most about the proposed features of GTA 6? Which Red Dead Redemption 2 feature would you like to be part of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI?
