Helldivers 2 Passes Starfield and Destiny 2 CCU Steam Numbers; Servers Now Capped at 450K Players

Helldivers 2 has passed the Steam concurrent player count for Starfield and Destiny 2 and is easily Sony's best-performing game on Steam. Earlier this month we reported that the sci-fi cooperative shooter easily surpassed the launch of God of War on Steam. Last week, Arrowhead CEO and Helldivers 2 Creative Director Johan Pilestedt revealed that the game had sold around 1 million copies with a roughly equal share between PS5 and PC units.
