Let's start with the tanks, shall we? D.Va, our favorite mech pilot, has had her Light Gun's base projectile size reduced from 0.25 to 0.2 meters. While it may not sound like a huge difference, in the fast-paced world of Overwatch, every millimeter counts. This change will require players to be even more precise with their shots, rewarding those who have mastered D.Va's firepower.
Roadhog, the lovable hog with a hook, has received a boost to his Take a Breather ability. The damage reduction has been increased from 40 to 50%, making him even more of a damage-soaking behemoth. With this upgrade, Roadhog will be able to sustain even more punishment, making him an even more formidable presence on the battlefield. So, enemies beware, because this hog is tougher than ever!
And Zarya, the queen of energy beams, has seen an increase in her Particle Cannon's damage output. The primary fire now deals a minimum of 95 damage per second, up from 85, and a maximum of 190 damage per second, up from 170. Watch out, enemies, Zarya means business! With this boost, Zarya's damage potential is significantly higher, allowing her to melt through enemy defenses in no time. So, if you're looking to bring the heat, Zarya is the hero for you!
Moving on to the damage heroes, Hanzo, the archer extraordinaire, has had his base projectile sizes reduced. From 0.1 to 0.075 meters, to be exact. It seems Hanzo has sharpened his aim even further, making those arrows a little harder to dodge. This change will require Hanzo players to be even more precise with their shots, rewarding those who have mastered his bow and arrow.
Junkrat, the explosive enthusiast, has received some buffs to his Concussion Mine. The cooldown has been decreased from 8 to 7 seconds, and the maximum and minimum damage have been increased. Now, the mine packs an explosive punch with a maximum of 120 damage and a minimum of 55. Watch out for those booby traps! With these adjustments, Junkrat's ability to control the battlefield and dish out damage has been enhanced, making him an even more chaotic force to be reckoned with.
Soldier: 76, our trusty old soldier, has seen a change to his Heavy Pulse Rifle. The projectile size has been reduced to 0.05 meters, making it a little trickier to hit those shots. This alteration will require Soldier: 76 players to have even more precise aim, rewarding those who can land their shots consistently.
Tracer, the time-jumping adventurer, has had her Pulse Pistols' minimum falloff range reduced from 12 to 10. It seems Tracer is getting up close and personal with her enemies, leaving them with nowhere to hide. This change will encourage Tracer players to engage in close-quarters combat, maximizing her damage potential and exploiting her agility to outmaneuver her foes.
And Widowmaker, the deadly sniper, has received some adjustments to her Widow's Kiss. The scoped shot damage falloff min-max range has been increased from 40-60 to 50-70 meters, giving her even more lethal range. Watch out for those headshots! With this modification, Widowmaker's ability to pick off enemies from a distance has been further enhanced, making her an even more formidable threat to anyone who dares to cross her path.
