Starfield’s ‘Shattered Space’ Expansion Gets A Deep Dive Trailer

Almost a year following its release, Bethesda Softworks is ready to show off Starfield‘s first expansion, Shattered Space, which will take players to the home of House Va’ruun. To help promote the release of the expansion, Bethesda’s released a ten-minute deep dive discussing the improvements that have come to Starfield, and what players can expect to see in the new aspects of the game.

Shattered Space as an expansion looks to take Starfield in a different direction. It’s embracing more linear environments and storytelling, as it takes place entirely on a single-planet. However, it’s also looking to veer slightly away from the NASA-punk focus of the main game to deal in cosmic horror. Va’ruun Kai is dealing with the aftermath of an experiment that tore a hole in spacetime, swallowing part of their main city and leading to strange incidents that will be left up to the player to discover.

With Starfield having a polarizing reception and taking dozens of hours to finish, is Shattered Space enough to bring you back into the game?
