Fans are excited about the second season and the thrill it is going to bring within the narrative of the two sisters’s feud. However, there are still some plot points from the first season that have created a lot of confusion and discourse within the Arcane fanbase. One such plothole is Vi’s aim for attending the council meeting.

Vi’s initial intention to join the council meeting was to persuade them to launch an attack on Silco and stop his tyranny, but she got sidetracked when she heard about the peace talks by the Council to save their own pockets. This unexpected approach has been a big confusing point for Arcane fans since season 1.

The Most Confusing Plothole in Arcane

After seeing the brutality and violence of the Piltover army and the Council against the people of Undercity, Vi believed that if she managed to reveal the true colors of Silco to the Council, she might have a chance to save the Undercity and her sister. However, her expression changed when the Council decided to avoid war and negotiate with Silco.

While this was understandable from the Council’s point of view, it didn’t make sense to Vi and some fans. Ever since the beginning of the series, the Piltover Council has used force and violence against the people of Undercity. This has also been what Vi has seen since her childhood.

But during the meeting, she became the one who promoted war against Silco, knowing very well what impact it could have on the people of Undercity. This was a little confusing because, although Vi might look like the violent type, she is much more concerned with the people of the Undercity because of Vander’s principles embedded within her.

Arcane Season 2 Might Clear A Lot of Confusion From Season 1

The trailer for Arcane Season 2, released by Netflix, offers a glimpse into the upcoming events of the world of the League of Legends adaptation. According to the trailer, Vi joins hands with Caityln to take down Jinx, and Jinx earns the trust of the people of Zaun (Undercity), who are also willing to take down Piltover.

The two main characters will most probably brawl it out to see which side is strongest, but before that, the series might hopefully clear the plotholes of season 1.

This would help make the narrative of the second season even more thrilling and intriguing for the fans who have been waiting for the series for a long time.

With season 2 being the final season of the highly popular Arcane series, the creators might have certainly planned something big. Fans will have to wait till November to find out how the fight between the two sisters plays out in the grand scheme of things.

Arcane is available to watch on Netflix.
