Players have the freedom to construct all kinds of buildings, towers, castles, and pavilions in LEGO Fortnite. However, not everyone wants to build things from scratch and go through the tiresome process of gathering resources, which is why the game has many options for prefab builds. Players can place the prefabs anywhere without having to build them piece by piece.
One such prefab in LEGO Fortnite is the Shogun Palace; it is a grand building with an elegant design that showcases traditional Japanese architecture. The Shogun Palace adds a unique style and charm to any village. However, there are certain criteria that players must meet before they can unlock the beautiful Shogun Palace prefab build.
To unlock the beautiful Japanese-style buildings, players can follow the instructions below.
As players keep upgrading their village, they will get access to more recipes in the Shogun Palace collection, including many other Japanese-style decorations and building pieces, such as Shoji Walls, Kawara Roofs, and various stools and flooring.
Once players have unlocked the Shogun Palace, they can get to work and start building a magnificent Japanese-style fortress in the Frostlands. However, they need to go through a series of upgrades till they can finally build the Grand Palace version.
All versions of the Shogun Palace and their requirements are listed in the table below:
Shogun Palace Version | Upfront Cost | Total Cost |
Starter Palace | 9 Granite | 15 Granite, 36 Vines, 41 Wood, 10 Frostpine |
Palace Pavillion | 5 Granite | 9 Granite, 31 Wood |
Palace Gates | 13 Granite | 31 Granite, 19 Wood, 12 Frostpine |
Tiered Palace | 23 Granite | 31 Granite, 100 Vines, 100 Wood, 20 Frostpine |
Palace Tower | 56 Granite | 138 Granite, 135 Vines, 323 Wood, 109 Frostpine |
Grand Palace | 69 Granite | 152 Granite, 219 Vines, 233 Wood, 91 Frostpine |
After they’ve collected all the necessary resources, players can simply build the Shogun Palace anywhere they want. If players don’t want to set up camp in the freezing temperatures of the Frostlands, they can simply leave and build the Shogun Palace buildings in any other biome, such as the Grasslands or Dry Valley. Players can also incorporate some of the decor and materials into the rest of their buildings, to add a little extra flair.
To survive against the cold temperatures, players can build a campfire or eat Spicy Peppers found in the Dry Valley.
