Fortnite Winterfest 2023: Krampus location and where to find him

Winterfest 2023 has brought a lot of fresh content into Fortnite. You can get various skins like Holiday Boxy and Leelah, along with 14 free daily gifts and more. During this event, you can also find seasonal NPCs who mostly appear on the map during the Winterfest event every year. One of them is Sgt Winter and another one is a half-demon, half-goat, and half-monster named Krampus. If you can defeat him, you’ll be rewarded with 15000 XP.  So in this guide, we are going to talk about how to find the location where Krampus can be found in Fortnite Winterfest 2023.

Where to find the Krampus in Fortnite Winterfest 2023

To come across the location of  Krampus in Fortnite during the Winterfest 2023 event, you’ll need to head over to the snow biome. Here he can be found south of the Hazy Hillside. You’ll be able to see him roaming around a dark cabin whose roof is covered with snow. This cabin is known as the Cliffside Lodge.

Krampus can be seen walking around this lodge and whenever someone comes close enough to him, he can be seen attacking them with presents from his Holiday Presents stash as he is a hostile NPC, unlike Sgt Winter who is a friendly one.

How to defeat Krampus in Fortnite Winterfest 2023

To get the 15000 XP, you’ll need to complete the Krampus quest which has the following objectives.

• You’ll need to use a Sneaky Snowmando to go close enough to Krampus
• You’ll need to deploy a beacon at Krampus’ Holiday Presents stash
• You’ll need to defeat and eliminate Krampus to save Winterfest in Fortnite

The first objective requires you to obtain a Sneaky Snowmando. To acquire it, you can either look for it in the surrounding areas of the snow biome. You can also buy it from the NPC Leelah for 100 Gold Bars. To hide inside the Sneaky Snowmando, you’ll need to throw it on the first floor of the Cliffside Lodge. This will complete the first objective.

The next objective needs you to deploy a beacon at Krampus’ stash of presents. You should be careful about other players too as Krampus’ stash contains good loot which means other players might also be coming and you should be ready to face them too. You’ll need to locate the stash which will be around the Cliffside Lodge. Once you’ve found it, hit the necessary buttons which will appear on your screen to place and deploy the beacon.

The last objective requires you to defeat and eliminate Krampus. It is recommended that you complete this objective before the beacon one as otherwise he will try to kill you in the process. Krampus has a large health bar, which means it’ll take you a fair amount of time to defeat him.

You need to come to the Cliffside Lodge, with your best weapon, a lot of ammo, and shields. Krampus will attack you using his pickaxe. As it is a close-range weapon, he will always charge towards you so it is important to maintain distance otherwise you’ll be killed. You should pick a good mid or long-range weapon for this battle and keep firing while also moving around. After you can defeat Krampus successfully and complete the quest, you’ll be rewarded with 15000 XP.
