Now, let's explore another scenario. You make a wrong move and find yourself in handcuffs, arrested by the police. Instead of a simple game over screen, the game advances in time. As you serve your time in jail, certain elements of the city change. New factions rise to power, old alliances crumble, and the very fabric of Night City evolves. Upon your release, you find yourself in a transformed world, forced to adapt and navigate through the consequences of your actions. This fresh take on death and consequences would add a whole new level of immersion and player agency to the game.
