There are a lot of locations in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom which, at first glance, seem almost impossible to get to. Even if you enter Swordfighter Mode, you simply can’t jump high enough, even with the help of Echoes.
Thankfully, there are a few tricks that let you scale the walls, allowing you to access usually out-of-reach areas.
If you’ve found an area that can’t be reached using Tables or Beds, you may have to delve deeper into your Echo collection to make the climb. There is one Echo which comes out on top in terms of climbing abilities, but let’s take a look at some alternatives before moving on to the winning Echo:
Crawltula is a relatively easy Echo to learn as you first come across this monster in Suthorn Forest. To find it, start at Lueberry’s House and travel north.
After you’ve learned the Crawltula Echo, you can start your wall-climbing adventures, but there is a specific way to do it. Here are the steps you’ll need to follow:
This can be a little dicey because Crawltula can sometimes have a mind of its own and go off in random directions. But even if you get there in a roundabout way, you will eventually get to where you want to be.
This method can also be used to travel across ceilings in dungeons or buildings, which is really useful if there’s something on the floor that you want to avoid.
