“Riot is abusing the FOMO”: Valorant’s Console Players Come With All the Answers With Store Idea That PC Players Have Heard All Before

Valorant has been a beloved title in the community for four years now since its launch. Despite this unwavering success, there are certain complaints from the fans as well regarding various aspects of the game.

For example, it’s pretty hard for the new players to cope in the game. On the other hand, the toxicity level in the game keeps rising day by day. Now, there’s another sector of the game that has become the cause of headaches for many fans.

Valorant Players Want a Change in the In-Game Store

The in-game store in Valorant right now features two sections: featured collection and 24-hour slot. In the former one, the latest bundle is showcased. And in the latter one, random skins of various weapons pop up and stay available for a day to buy them.

Now, the problem is that new players, especially those who are on consoles, missed their chance to enjoy some of the greatest skin bundles in the game. And it’s pretty hard to get very old skins in the game. Even a player waited for almost one year to get the Prelude to Chaos Vandal, but his efforts went in vein.

That’s why a new player has advised (in a now-deleted Reddit post) to add a separate bundle shop in the in-game store where players will be able to buy their favorite bundles, no matter how old they are, like the Raidant Entertainment System or the Elderflame.

However, another fan has doubted that Riot will ever implement this system. According to him, Riot is using the “FOMO” of the fans of not being able to buy their favorite skins. Thus, the game’s playtime and userbase increase.

Also, this forces you to buy your second, third, and fourth favorite skins, as you fear these too might never come back too. Although all of these purchases are unnecessary, as you only wanted that skin, which was your favorite.

Fans Have Other Ideas to Make the Valorant In-Game Store Great Again

It would be great to trade in VP to re-roll the in-game store in Valorant.

Not getting your favorite skins in the game is a bit disappointing. That’s why another fan has thought about a unique idea. This fan has stated that players should be allowed to trade in their in-game currencies, i.e., Valorant Points (VP), to re-roll the store. Upon rolling out, each time the store will feature new skins.

Now, to get their favorite skins, fans will be rolling the store until and unless they get that. And also this way, Riot can make a handsome amount of revenue with the VP spent from the fans. So it is going to be a win-win situation for both Riot and fans.

Right now there is a lot of heat going around the in-game store in Valorant. We hope Riot brings some solid fixes to make these aspects of the game popular again.
