Feybreak Brings New Life to Palworld — And the Fans Are Loving Every Second

Palworld: Feybreak Breaks 200,000 Concurrent Players on Steam Again Thanks to New Update

PocketPair rolled out the big Palworld: Feybreak update last week, and since then the title has seen a massive resurgence in its player base.

What made Palworld a massive hit in the beginning of 2024 threatens to take over once again with PocketPair’s new Feybreak update announced at the Game Awards 2024 celebration. PocketPair has had a rough path to Feybreak‘s launch with an ongoing patent lawsuit with Nintendo, but the Feybreak update arrived as scheduled last week despite the fact, and it has made Palworld the world fans want to explore on Steam.

According to Steamcharts, PocketPair’s monster collecting and base-building title has not reached the over 200,000 peak player mark since March 2024, that is until the launch of Feybreak this month with a past-30 day peak of 212,559. The fresh update features a crossover weapon called the Meowmeow from Terraria, new gameplay elements such as Expeditions and the trailer showcasing the update can be seen below.

The new update pushes Palworld into the top 100 on Steam’s most played titles list, with PocketPair’s title landing at #6 right behind Marvel Rivals. The last time a resurgence of this magnitude has happened on the Palpagos Islands, the June 2024 debut of PocketPair’s Sakurajima update was on the menu. The player base peak hit just over 140,000 in that month during the release of that update.
