Fans Do Not Want GTA 6 To Be Woke
According to a recent report via Bloomberg, Rockstar has asked its writers to be ‘less crude’ towards transgender people and other minorities, which goes against the core of the game.
Being inclusive and respectful towards everyone is an important aspect of life. However, when it comes to art or entertainment, via storytelling to be specific, it is important to do justice to the world your story is set in. Similarly, GTA’s crime-laden world does not establish grounds for going easy on anyone.
After hearing about this recent report, fans are on the verge of boycotting the game. They feel that GTA 6 is not doing justice to its world but rather falling into the shambles of societal pressure. The game is still under development and constantly evolving, which might result in a push in its release date.

Having said that, this recent report should be taken with a pinch of salt since the extent to which this current change is being implemented is still not clear and Rockstar seems to be silent on the matter as usual.
