People of Valorant, It’s Time to Stop Doing the 1 Thing That’s Making Folks Uninstall the Game

Valorant is one of the most played games right now. This 5v5 shooter from Riot Games has been garnering a huge fan base since its launch in 2020. There are some major reasons for this game’s success: intricate maps, exciting team-based gameplay, a diverse agent roster, and extreme optimization on any kind of machine.

However, despite being hugely successful, the game there are some aspects that Riot Games needs to fix. For example, the game has been facing several issues with bugs and glitches for a long time. The game is also becoming an unavoidable space with the infestation of toxic players. And now, there is one more reason for which players are thinking of uninstalling the game.

A Valorant Fan Is Sick of Players Surrendering for No Reason

Recently, a Valorant fan expressed their frustration on Reddit about how people have become so ignorant about the game. Most of the players in the matches are surrendering the games for no legitimate reason. Yes, you might be in a difficult scenario when one of your teammates is down, then you can surrender for sure.

Why do people in this game have such weak mental?

But when everything seems to be going fine, players are still triggering this feature. This fan has stated that in every match they are playing, their opponents or teammates surrender the match without any cause. Not only that, players are even surrendering when they are almost winning the game.

Things have gone so out of hand that this fan has only played half of all the matches they have ever played. After all this, they’re thinking about not playing the game anymore.

Why People Are Surrendering Unrated Matches Mindlessly

The surrender option is mainly triggered when players fall into an unfavorable condition, mainly caused by a player leaving the match. Thus, surrendering a match will save you from the relentless trauma of overpowered opponents as well as huge RR reductions.

Although RR is also deducted in case of surrender, it is not as huge as losing a match horribly. But in the case of Unrated, there is no such thing as RR.

All of these surrender dramas that the fan is facing are in Unrated. And this is quite obvious too. Frankly speaking, nowadays, no one takes Unrated seriously, as most of the players get into a match to mainly warm-up or wait for their teammates to join the lobby.

This surrender drama is happening so much in ranked that even a Counter-Strike player will be shocked to see it. So, it’s not a big deal now for players to surrender in Unrated.

Now it’s up to Riot Games to sort out this problem in Valorant ASAP to keep players from uninstalling the game. What’s your opinion on this? Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
