The Fontaine Aircraft, also more commonly known as the Antoine Roger Aircraft, is an airship that was introduced during Genshin Impact’s Version 4.0. It is an interactable mode of transportation that you can use during your exploration around Fontaine, which not only helps you traverse the highest places in the region, but also gives players additional rewards.
There are a total of 9 Aircraft available for Genshin Impact players to find, some of which are located either above ground or underwater. In order to activate the Aircraft and ride it, you will need to use the Ousia block within the vicinity and hit the machinery with either your Charged Attack or Elemental Skill. This guide will list out the locations where players can find the Fontaine Aircraft and what they will need to do to receive the rewards once the trip is complete.
You can spot the first Aircraft near a hill in the West Slopes of Mont Automnequi in the Belleau Region of Fontaine. You’ll meet Antoine there, the inventor behind these Aircrafts, who will then offer players a ride on the ship.
Before activating the ship, it will help to carry a bow character, as many of the puzzles require shooting down enemies in midair.
The second Aircraft is located south of the Beryl Region. If you use the Teleport Waypoint below and head south, you should be able to spot the ship atop a hill.
The third Aircraft is pretty easy to find as it is located near the Statue of Seven in Elynas. Simply scale the mountain behind you, and the Aircraft should be parked there. There will be enemies here as well, so remember to defeat them before activating the ship.
This Aircraft is also located in Elynas, closer to the center of this beast’s remains and hidden behind a mountain ridge. Simply teleport to the waypoint below, turn around, and head southwest to find the Aircraft.
The fifth Aircraft can be tricky to find because it will already be suspended in the air, and you will have to use a teleporter to transport you to the ship. The little teleportation portal will be right next to the Teleport Waypoint on the hill, but players will need to be mindful as there will be a Hilichurl Rogue that will immediately attack on sight. After you defeat the Hilichurl, teleport up to the Aircraft, ride to the destination, and claim the remarkable chest at the end.
You’ll also be able to take the Hydroculus in the air once you are done.
Situated near the skull of Elynas, the sixth Aircraft is right next to the Teleport Waypoint northeast of the island. Players should note that the sixth Aircraft does not unlock until the fifth Aircraft trip has been completed.
Located at the base of a mountain in the Court of Fontaine region, the seventh Aircraft is also surrounded by a few enemies. Remember to clear them out before starting the ship. The trip will lead you to the top of the highest building in the Court of Fontaine, so do not forget to search around for the Exquisite Chest as well.
The eighth Aircraft is located underwater in the Thalatta Submarine Canyon of the Court of Fontaine region. The Aircraft is pretty easy to spot, but there are a few vines anchoring it to the sea floor. You’ll have to use the ability of the Xenochromatic Hunter Ray within the vicinity to cut the vines so that the Aircraft can fly.
Once the Aircraft reaches its destination, you’ll receive an Exquisite Chest and Hydroculus to add to your collection. After collecting the Hydroculus, there will also be a small puzzle to complete for more rewards.
The final Aircraft can also be found in the Court of Fontaine, bordering the Erinnyes Forest region. Players can teleport to the waypoint near the road and head north. The Aircraft will only be a few steps away from you. In addition to this, after completing the trip and defeating the anomalies, players can also claim a Hydoculus and an additional Exquisite Chest.
After completing a trip on any one of the Aircraft, players will then be awarded the Hidden Achievement. If you locate the rest of the Aircraft, you can obtain additional rewards in the form of Remarkable Chests, Exquisite Chests, and Hydroculus.
