Following a series of leaks and speculations, Genshin Impact has confirmed that version 4.3 will add several quality-of-life changes to improve the overall experience. Genshin Impact's final update in 2023 will mark the debut of two characters with different roles, Navia and Chevreuse, alongside rerun banners that will become available for a limited time. Travelers have plenty to look forward to in version 4.3, during which they will get to explore domains, take on a brand-new weekly boss, and recreate their house within the Fontaine Teapot realm.
During version 4.3 of Genshin Impact, players will expand their respective teams with Inazuma-based characters Kamisato Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Raiden Shogun. The good news is that these units will finally get a rerun after being pushed out in recent updates. Along with version 4.3, there will be a series of events that offer players lucrative rewards in return for their time and effort. More weapon banners and artifact sets, with which Travelers can upgrade their favorite character, will also be featured in the upcoming update.
Genshin Impact has confirmed in a blog post that several quality-of-life changes, including the ability to claim all expedition rewards with one click, will be featured in version 4.3. Travelers will be able to repeat expeditions with a single click and gather valuable resources faster than usual. Based on player input, some significant optimizations will be made to artifacts, including Automatic Locking and Quick Unlock functions. According to the developers, the number of artifact sets players can collect will be increased.
Going into more detail, version 4.3 will make the character enhancement experience smoother by bringing the "Auto Add" function, which allows players to add all EXP materials with one click. When leveling up artifacts, they will consume up to 15 items to speed up the process. There will also be an optimization released for Genshin Impact's domains, which makes clearing these combat dungeons much easier. According to the blog post, players will now respawn nearer to the Domain challenge location.
Aside from quality-of-life improvements, the version 4.3 update will add a new Archon quest that requires players to visit The Chasm Underground Mines. Titled "Requiem of the Echoing Depths, it will be unlinked from The Chasm Delvers quest chain and reveal fresh details about Genshin Impact's ongoing Archon story. One thing to note is that players must reach at least Adventure Rank 28 and finish Chapter 1: Act 3 to explore The Chasm: Underground Mines, wherein they will complete the upcoming quest.
