A Genshin Impact player has discovered a fun Easter egg with popular character Kamisato Ayaka in Version 4.3's main event, sticking around in Fontaine after the event's conclusion. Each new version of the HoYoverse RPG typically features a selection of playable characters playing a major role in the story of the update's main event. Version 4.3's main event, Roses and Muskets, not only featured new characters Navia and Chevreuse, but also saw past characters like Ayaka, Yoimiya, and Ayato star within the event. Now, players are discovering a special Easter egg with Ayaka after finishing the event's story.

Throughout many of Genshin Impact's recent events, characters playing a leading role within the event can often be found in the overworld following its conclusion. Version 4.1's "Waterborne Poetry" saw several of its featured characters remain in the overworld with Venti, Hu Tao, and Xiao all appearing throughout Teyvat. The ongoing Roses and Muskets event also features several characters popping up throughout Fontaine, including unreleased characters like Chiori and Clorinde. Now, players have discovered an unusual aspect of Ayaka's overworld appearance following Roses and Muskets.

Reddit user sanghellic shared the discovery of Ayaka's unique appearance in Genshin Impact's overworld following the conclusion of the story for Version 4.3's main event. Ayaka can be found at the Icewind Suite's boss arena near Fontaine's Opera Epiclese, watching the show being put on by the robotic dancers. However, unlike many NPCs, Ayaka can also be seen moving around the platform on her own with several unique interactions, waving at the player and appearing to use the Kamera located within the arena. Ayaka can be found in the overworld after completing the final story chapter for Roses and Muskets, "The Two Musketeers' Triumph."

Ayaka's unique movements following the event come as playable characters in the overworld have been a common request from Genshin Impact fans. Many fans have theorized where Genshin Impact's cast could be found throughout Teyvat, with one fan even creating a list for the whole cast's overworld appearances. HoYoverse's newest game, Honkai: Star Rail, features its playable characters appearing both in the game's different worlds and aboard the Astral Express. Genshin Impact currently does not feature any playable characters appearing permanently within the overworld.

While Genshin Impact has yet to fully add playable characters to the overworld, the RPG has made a plethora of quality-of-life changes with Fontaine's arrival. Version 4.1 introduced an overhaul to Genshin Impact's daily commission system, offering alternative methods for players to earn their daily Primogems. HoYoverse has also made several changes to Artifacts throughout the Fontaine cycle, allowing players to level Artifacts easier and offering recommendations for characters. Genshin Impact players can only hope Ayaka's new overworld animations lead to more playable characters appearing within the in-game world.
