Electro-Charged: Unleashing the Power of Hydro and Electro in Genshin Impact

Highlights

  • Electro-Charged is a reaction in Genshin Impact that occurs when a character applies both Hydro and Electro to an enemy.
  • Building a full EM team for Electro-Charged is not recommended due to the low damage output.
  • Two ways to increase the damage of Electro-Charged are by running Childe with Beidou and Fischl or a Sucrose build with an Anemo character.

Electro-Charged is a unique reaction in Genshin Impact that occurs when a character applies both Hydro and Electro to an enemy. The damage of Electro-Charged is not very high, so it's not worth building a full EM team for it. However, there are ways to increase the damage of Electro-Charged and make it a useful reaction.

One way to increase the damage of Electro-Charged is to run Childe with Beidou and Fischl, who are both Hydro and Electro characters. Beidou can provide EM for the team, and Fischl can trigger Electro-Charged with her E ability. This build can work well, but it requires building Beidou and Fischl with EM, which may not be ideal.

Another way to increase the damage of Electro-Charged is to run a Sucrose build with an Anemo character, such as Kazuha. Sucrose can apply Hydro and Electro to an enemy with her E ability, and the Anemo character can swirl both elements at the same time, triggering Electro-Charged. Sucrose also provides EM to the entire team, which increases the overall reaction damage. This build doesn't require building any characters with EM, but it does require a Sucrose and an Anemo character.

When building characters for Electro-Charged, it's best to take all characters in the party to level 90 and use Sucrose. As mentioned earlier, it's nearly impossible to control who the trigger is that the reaction inherits EM from, so it's best to build the Hydro/Electro characters with a standard direct damage setup, with a focus on ER>crit>EM>=modifier subs.

Overall, Electro-Charged is a unique reaction that can have both Hydro and Electro on an enemy at the same time, but the damage from the reaction itself is not very high. However, there are ways to increase the damage of Electro-Charged and make it a useful reaction, such as running Childe with Beidou and Fischl or a Sucrose build with an Anemo character.
