Millions of Fortnite players indulge in the 950 V-Buck Battle Pass, and with its exclusive rewards and decent price, it’s hard to pass up. However, starting Sunday, December 1, the Battle Pass will become a little more expensive, changing from 950 V-Bucks to 1,000 V-Bucks.
Luckily, it’s not too much of a price hike and those worried about the V-Buck price going up in general will be happy to know there will be no changes to the worth of the in-game currency. However, the 25 Battle Pass Reward Bundle will be coming down in price by 50 V-Bucks, making it available for 1,800. If you’d like to get your hands on the Battle Pass and the 25 Battle Pass Reward Bundle, they’ll also be available for 2,800 V-Bucks as a bundle together.
V-Bucks will still be included in the Battle Pass itself, so players will continue to have the opportunity to save up for the next pass, which will now need an extra 50. Unfortunately, this does mean that Fortnite Remix was the last Chapter to have the iconic 950 V-Buck Battle Pass. We currently do not know if more content will be included in the Battle Pass due to the increase in price, but it is unlikely players will gain more rewards.
Those worried about Fortnite Crew are in luck, as December 1 marks a huge upgrade to the subscription service. The Music Pass and LEGO Pass will be included at no additional cost. Along with this, all Passes will progress simultaneously, regardless of what experience you prefer to delve into. If you’d like to get your hands on The Music Pass and LEGO Pass separately, there’s no need to worry about a price hike, as they will remain the same price of 1,400 V-Bucks.
Although the Battle Pass is going up in price, there seems to be a silver lining thanks to these new additions coming to Fortnite Crew and a price decrease for the 25 Battle Pass Rewards Bundle.
