Fortnite is giving away a free skin to incentivize fans to try out the LEGO game mode. This guide will explain everything players need to know to acquire the Explorer Emilie skin in Fortnite.

How to Get the Explorer Emilie Skin

Chapter 5 Season 1 will mark when Fortnite joined forces with LEGO. To celebrate, Fortnite is giving away a free skin that will work both in the standard Battle Royale game mode and Fortnite LEGO game mode once it's out.

Players can unlock the free Explorer Emilie skin in Fortnite by linking their Epic Games account to a LEGO Account. The Explorer Emilie skin will only become available on December 7, 2023, once the new LEGO game mode launches; it will be available as a standard Battle Royale skin and as a LEGO skin. However, gamers can actually complete these steps right away to ensure that they'll get it as soon as possible.

How to Link an Epic Games Account to a LEGO Account

Players who don't have a LEGO Account must create one, or else they won't be able to receive the skin. Those who completed this step or already had an account can continue with this process.

Gamers can link their Epic Games account to their LEGO account by entering the Epic Games website, entering the Account Settings tab by selecting the icon on the upper right corner, and then visiting the Apps and Accounts section. In the Apps tab, fans will notice the LEGO account option, and if they select Connect, they'll be able to link their accounts. They will be redirected to the LEGO website, where they'll be able to log in using their LEGO account.

In order to finish linking both accounts, gamers must then confirm that they allow LEGO to share their information with Epic Games. Once this has been completed, gamers will receive the free Explorer Emilie skin on December 7, 2023.
