The current season of Fortnite has been all about vehicles, explosions and utter chaos. It is truly one of the most bizarre seasons we’ve had, and it seems another major player is joining the game. According to the latest leaks, Elon Musk’s infamous Tesla Cybertruck is coming to the game as part of a new bundle.
If true, the Tesla Cybertruck will fit right into the vehicular mayhem that is taking place in Fortnite right now. Furthermore, the Tesla Cybertruck will be the first known model that will make its way to the game, as the current ones are mostly generic.
Is Elon Musk Making his Debut In Fortnite?
Elon Musk is a tech mogul who is known for playing key roles in space company SpaceX and automotive company Tesla, Inc. He is also the current owner of X, formerly known as Twitter. Unfortunately, according to the leaks, he is not coming to Fortnite, but just the Tesla Cybertruck instead.
The leak was posted on X by @iFireMonkey, and it shows that the Tesla Cybertruck will be part of a bundle. The bundle includes a Double Agent Hush Outfit, Double Agent Stripe Back Bling, Double Agent Wildcard Outfit, and Double Agent Hard Case Back Bling,
As of now, the cost of the bundle hasn’t been revealed yet, but we can expect it to be at the higher end. Furthermore, many fans have had a sarcastic take on the price of the bundle, as products that are linked to Elon Musk’s company are usually very high.
There hasn’t been any clear indication as to when the bundle will be added to the game. However, there is a chance that it may debut with the Pirates of the Caribbean collaboration that is next in the cards for Fortnite.
Fortnite’s Current Season Is Unlike Any Before
The ongoing season of Fortnite titled “Wrecked” is one of the most unique seasons we’ve had so far in the game. Diverging away from the traditional gunplay that we usually see, this season is all about vehicles and explosives.
The season initially kicked off with everyone on the maps prioritizing vehicles, especially the ones that can be acquired by defeated bosses. These vehicles proved to be as powerful as the guns, and other weapons paled in comparison. It came to the point where the game felt more like a Demolition Racer rather than a battle royale.
This has been since nerfed as the patch update we received a few weeks ago toned down the power of vehicles a bit. However, they are still dominant in the game, and with the introduction of Tesla’s Cybertruck, we can expect the same. Epic Games has also added more ways to counter vehicle gameplay, making the game more fair.
