From minigames to special cosmetics to new quests and content, these are the best Halloween events happening in various games in 2024.

Best 2024 Halloween Events in Games: Fortnitemares

The classic and wonderfully named Fortnitemares is back in Fortnite for another spooky season. Available until the end of the current Season 4, there are decorations all throughout the island and numerous quests to complete for rewards like Great Scarecrow Glider. In addition, there are excellent new skins like the Saw series crossover in Billy the Puppet, some Disney villains, Leatherface, and more.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Spooky Celebration

Hello Kitty Island Adventure has one of the most adorable Halloween in-game events this year. There are plenty of decorations like ghosts, pumpkins, and more to customize the island with. In addition, there are cutesy outfits for your character to wear as you complete some fun quests.

Haunted by Daylight

I always enjoy when a Halloween event goes beyond some decorations here and there, some skins, and some quests. Fortunately, Dead by Daylight does just that with the Haunted by Daylight event. This horror multiplayer game has a new mod that swaps out the one hunter versus four players for two hunters going up against eight players in ridiculous chaos.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Halloween Quests

New Halloween quests are available in Disney Dreamlight Valley for a limited time. These involve fun autumn activities like finding candy, planting pumpkins, and more. The quests reward players with some fantastic additions, too, like the Mickey Mouse-themed pumpkin.

Diablo IV Meat or Treat

Diablo IV begins its own spooky event on October 29, 2024. Every day for four days in total, there will be a new login item for players to get ranging from mount trophies to mount armor and more. There is also a new Meat or Treat event that will happen in dungeons where shrines will have new surprising effects to either trick or treat players.
