Fallout 76 uses fan art without permission! Official admits and apologizes

According to Gamerant, Fallout 76 used the "Shelter Boy" fan art without the creator's permission.

It is reported that the content using player works comes from a bundle called "Flag Waving". Like previous similar content, the first picture of the bundle content is an introductory icon with the theme of Shelter Boy. According to the parties involved, this work was not created by Bethesda, but by Zack Finfrock.

He posted a comparison between the official picture and his own work on Twitter, jokingly saying that if the official liked his work, he could draw a newer and better version.

Later, Jonathan Rush, the creative director of "Fallout76", responded to the tweet and apologized, saying that their behavior was wrong. He attributed the error to "confusion with the outsourcer" and pointed out that the developer was replacing the picture. Later, the author also took this opportunity to make a formal contribution to Bethesda, and the creative director gave a positive response to this.
