CD Projekt RED's science-fiction RPG Cyberpunk 2077 has met with a more mixed response than many expected, but one fact that most players can agree on is that Night City is an expansive and detailed city. Throughout their adventure through the city, players will be collecting large sums of money from NPCs with plenty to spend it on.
From weapons to cars and clothing, there's certainly no shortage of items for players to purchase in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Whether players are looking to save as much as possible or live a lifestyle of luxury, it can be helpful to know what exactly the priciest items in the game are.
Updated November 30, 2023 by Erik Petrovich: The 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 changed the game significantly, and was practically a ground-up revamp of the game's progression and RPG systems. Among the many changes are price changes for the most expensive Cyberpunk 2077 items, which players will find are much more affordable than at launch. For example, the Trajectory Analysis crafting spec used to set players back a whopping $500,000, but now costs a mere $5000. This guide to the most expensive items in Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated to show the old price for each weapon or car, as well as the newly updated prices for each. Though still expensive, the historical prices of these items were exorbitantly higher. Check through this list for details regarding requirements, price, and source for each item, as well as a comparison of each item's past high prices and current costs.
As a sports car within the world of Night City, it can be easy to see why the Turbo-R 740 would be desirable to own, though it's also one of the more expensive vehicles for players to acquire. It once cost $129,000, now just $69,000 after the 2.0 update, but requires a Street Cred level of at least 30 to purchase.
An alternate version of the Turbo-R 740, called the Turbo-R V-Tech, can be acquired for free, however. To unlock it, players will need to complete the mission "Sex on Wheels", which is only available after completing "Gig: Life's Work."
The Nazare is one of the coolest, though also one of the most expensive motorcycles found in Night City. With a price of $138,000 before the 2.0 update, the Nazare also comes with the requirement that players be at least Street Cred level 27 before purchasing it. The price was slashed virtually in half with the 2.0 release, at least.
That said, a modified version of the Nazare can be acquired for free. V will earn the Nazare "Itsumade" after completing the mission "The Highwaymen," which will be found in a garage in Northside, Watson. If players want the base version, however, they'll have to pay full price.
Described in-game as "the best electromagnetic precision rifle on the market," the M-179 Achilles might be just as pricey as it is deadly. It costs $149,555, though deals high amounts of damage, making it a worthwhile investment.
Another thing that makes the M-179 Achilles desirable is that it's the base weapon for the iconic Widow Maker weapon, which is one of the best sniper rifles in the game. It can also fire projectile shots, as well as charged shots that deal extra damage.
One of the most powerful and effective weapons in Cyberpunk 2077, unsurprisingly, is also one of the most expensive. Costing $149,797, the D5 Sidewinder is a smart weapon, meaning that it has self-guided microprojectiles that home in on enemies.
If that wasn't enough, the D5 Sidewinder is also the base weapon for the iconic Divided We Stand weapon, which includes an automatic targeting system that can target up to five enemies at once. Bullets from Divided We Stand also deal chemical damage and have a high chance of poisoning enemies.
One of the priciest cars in the game is the Caliburn, a fast Hypercar with a sleek metallic design. The car once cost a hefty $157,000 before the 2.0 update, but still costs a staggering $135,000 after. Though also comes with a few prerequisites. In order to purchase the vehicle, players will have to raise their Street Cred to at least level 50.
If the price or prerequisites seem too much for some players to achieve, there is actually a much cheaper alternative to acquiring the Caliburn. After completing the quest "Ghost Town," the car can be found for free in a cave just south of the Aldecaldo's camp.
The highly-effective shotgun is one of the priciest in the game. Coming in at $159,261, the gun uses a magazine clip instead of traditional shells, meaning that it not only has a faster fire rate but also a faster reload speed.
With effective damage, the gun is effective for players looking for combat at a close-to-medium range.
Another shotgun, this item will cost V a total of $161,644. The Tactician has a high DPS of 349 which can easily make it desirable instantly to a number of players.
Like with many shotguns in Cyberpunk 2077, some players have been turned off by the ineffective bullet spread on the weapon, rendering it useless unless in close-range combat.
The Defender is noteworthy for being the only light machine gun in Cyberpunk 2077. Sitting at $178,019, the Defender doesn't have an iconic upgrade but does have high damage of 524.
The gun also has the ricochet feature, which many players may find useful and effective in combat. The Defender may have a high price tag, but some players may see that price tag as a worthy investment.
Those looking to spend their extra cash on a sniper rifle may look towards the SPT32 Grad, which costs $179,677. Its power ability may be attractive to players who find themselves missing their targets, though will be useless for players priding themselves on precise accuracy.
The SPT32 Grad can be a bit of a hefty investment, and its worth may depend on what character and playstyle players are looking for.
A unique shotgun with the smart perk, the DB-4 Palica is a rare gun costing players $179,970. Its smart technology means that it homes in on its targets with self-guided projectiles.
The gun can also do high amounts of damage, but also only has two barrels, meaning that players may be having to reload more often than they would like.
A powerful sniper rifle, many players may be looking to get their hands on the Nekomata. The gun will cost a total of $203,902 but is largely seen as worth it to most players.
The gun has a high amount of damage and can charge to release a powerful shot. The Nekomata also has triple the headshot damage, so combining that with the charge can lead to the V inflicting devastating amounts of damage on enemies.
The most expensive shotgun in the game, the L-69 Zhuo has its fair share of pros and cons. Players will have to pay up $221,990 in order to own the weapon
Its smart technology is a great advantage that many other weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 share, though some players have noted the low damage as a severe drawback.
The Guinevere is the most expensive car in the game by a long shot. Costing $225,000 before the 2,0 update, it now costs a slightly more reasonable $155,000.
The Guinevere can hold a top speed of 190 miles per hour, and with only 150 units, was designed for only the wealthiest of citizens. Players looking to flaunt their salary should have this item as a must-buy.
The Ashura is the most expensive gun in Cyberpunk 2077, but for many players can be seen as a weak sniper rifle in comparison to other guns in the game. Players looking to buy the Ashura will need to invest $249,429.
The gun unfortunately has weaker damage than other noteworthy rifles. While some players may appreciate the smart ability of the weapon, there are cheaper sniper rifles that have the same ability.
The legendary crafting spec remains the single most expensive item players can buy while traversing Cyberpunk 2077's Night City. Players will be able to find Viktor's Clinic in Little China, Waston, where he used to sell the item for $520,000. After the 2.0 update, the price harshly dropped to about $5,000, but that's still not an insignificant amount.
From Kiroshi Optics, the Trajectory Analysis has the ability to increase bonus damage from headshots by up to 25%. The gun that players wish to use the mod for must have a mod slot available.
