COD Warzone Mobile Season 5 brings Meat map, new Battle Royale Modes, and more

Warzone Mobile Season 5 is just around the corner, bringing an exciting array of content for mobile gamers. Players can anticipate new Multiplayer maps and modes, updated Verdansk map features, engaging weekly events, and a variety of Operator bundles and packs in the upcoming season. The unified Battle Pass system will enable players to unlock Season 5 rewards across PC and console platforms. Get ready for intense action as Operators vie for the title of ultimate champion in Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Season 5. This season promises a host of new content, including multiple updates to the Verdansk map, a new Multiplayer map and mode, weekly events, and a shared Battle Pass and Bundles synchronized with Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone.

COD Warzone Mobile Season 5 update: Map Highlights

Core 6v6 Map: Meat

Prepare for intense action as Meat joins the Multiplayer map rotation. First introduced in Modern Warfare III Season 1, this small, chaotic map is set in the Port of Oakland’s slaughterhouse. Featuring tight lanes and a central meat locker, players can expect close-quarters combat. While the street and slaughterhouse hallway provide mid-range sightlines, brace yourself for relentless, head-to-head engagements.

Verdansk Map Updates: New POIs, Outposts

Season 5 brings some changes to the Verdansk landscape with new points of interest:

Zoo

A previously empty section of the Downtown Park is now the site of a zoo. Explore animal enclosures and other park amenities throughout the large attraction.

Train Wreck

Weave through the aftermath of a cargo train derailed by heavy vehicles. Search the overturned cargo for loot while remaining on the lookout for other scavengers.

Construction Site

Battle atop a new building being developed in Downtown. Only the top two levels under construction are accessible, by parachute or ascender. Bring a long-range weapon for the views.

Cliffside Base

A brutalist-style military stronghold has been built into a cliffside near the Dam. The interior of this POI will be unlocked later this season. Get a new perspective on the Airport from the two-story structure and seek out upgrades within its walls.

Government Building

Fight from the rooftop of a new government building in the Subhill area.  The interior of this POI will be unlocked later this season. Explore the interior for its high-quality loot.

Furthermore, sometimes, the best loot is found on the fringes. Three new outposts are being introduced in less populated areas near Dam North, Boneyard, and Airport. Explore these outposts while navigating between larger POIs, but remain cautious of other squads that may be on the same path.

New Modes and Features coming in Warzone Mobile Season 5

Multiplayer: Frontline Mode (Limited Time)

In this 6v6 Team Deathmatch variant, eliminated players will always respawn at their home base. Battle fiercely to gain ground and reach the score limit before time runs out.

Battle Royale: Practice Zone

Enter the Practice Zone, a dedicated space on Rebirth Island where you can test your settings with any loadout you’ve created and experiment with new weapon configurations on respawning targets. This zone features multiple players who cannot inflict damage on each other, allowing for uninterrupted practice. Whether with random players or friends you’ve invited, you can hone your skills and refine your strategies together.

Updated Feature: Event Store

This season, collect Heavyweight Badges in Events to establish your status as the WWE Champion. Redeem your Badges at the Event Store for free rewards, including the exclusive Soap — Death Helm Operator Skin!

Participate in any playlist marked with an (EP) tag to earn Event Points and Heavyweight Badges during weekly events. The Season 5 event schedule is as follows:

• WWE SummerSlam Event (August 1 – August 7)
• Train Wreck Event (August 8 – August 14)
• The Final Round (Part 1) Event (August 15 – August 18)
• The Final Round (Part 2) Event (August 19 – August 21)

Additionally, Warzone Mobile’s Keep will feature new premium cosmetics every week. In the first part of the season, you can look forward to Thick Skin, Ethereal Echoes, Mad Masque, and Voidlink being available in the Keep.
