For the delight of all tactical RPG fans, Genshin Impact's Exercise Surging Storm sees the Traveler take part in a series of table-top battles where picking the right units (and Stratagems) is a must. Genshin Impact Exercise Surging Storm Overview and How to Unlock
Unlocked by visiting its booth by the Knights of Favonius headquarters, Exercise Surging Storm tasks players with completing Wargame runs —a series of up to ten matches where you must make use of a drawn lineup of combat units and Stratagems to defeat those assembled by other players. Only those who reached Adventurer Level 20+ and completed the game's prologue can take part in the event.
After each auto-battle, you will then be able to draw to either upgrade your existing units or get more options for your build. Each run (or Wargame) will automatically end after either ten wins or four defeats, with your wins and other achievements dictating how many Medals you will gain at its end.
If you are having trouble winning your matches, I recommend focusing on countering your opponent's strengths through units either immune or untargetable by the opposition, all while having elemental reactions as your biggest tool. Striking a good balance between melee-focussed units and ranged damage dealers is also vital here, as apart from their elemental weaknesses and damage types, ranged units will counter flyers, flyers will counter melee attackers, and melee attackers will counter ranged picks when in the field.
All Exercise Surging Storm Rewards and How to Get Them in Genshin Impact
When taking part in the Exercise Surging Storm event, you will be able to get up to 400 Primogems by reaching certain Medal milestones, as well as get an extra 20 by completing a specific challenge. But the Primogems won't come alone, here's all Exercise Surging Storm rewards and how to get them:
