Lethal Company: Challenge Moons, Explained

Zeekers has given players a new challenge in the form of a new game mode called Challenge Moons with the Lethal Company version 47 release. It is a weekly event in which players can participate solo or with friends, and compete to put their names on the leaderboard.

Since its release, the developer has followed the community's demands and rightfully provided them. Previously, the Dramatic Mask was released after the fans requested a mimic monster. Now, the current version of Lethal Company has satisfied another request for a new mode.

What Are Challenge Moons?

Challenge Moons are randomly generated maps that will be shuffled every Monday of each week. These moons differ from the eight regular ones seen in the core game mode, and are more intense.

A random seed will be created for a distinct map with different names, structures, scrap values, and monsters every week. This allows the players to experience a fresh moon each week. These moons will feature more frequent monster spawns, severe weather, and valuable scraps.

You will be assigned one in-game day to gather as much scrap as possible from the challenge moons and then come back to the ship. When you are playing this particular game mode, you cannot fly to any other moon, even though the moon's name will be visible on your terminal command.

Once you are done collecting the scraps, you will have to end the day as usual on the ship. The values of the scraps you gather in one day will then determine your rank for that run. The game style becomes more enjoyable at this point, since you can compete with other players to rank higher on the leaderboard. Since these moons are replayable, you can play and try to increase your ranking as much as you want throughout the week.

How To Play Challenge Moons

Like regular lobbies, you may host or join a crew for the challenge moons. To host a lobby, go to the game's main menu and select "Host." After entering the name of your server, select the type of lobby. Once you're done, select the moon's name by clicking on it from the right side of the screen, beneath the three save files. The moon will be known by a name similar to "Ouu-59" or "Voiumya-10," but remember that it will vary weekly.

To join a public or private lobby and play as a crew, click "Join a crew" from the main menu and check the "With challenge moon" box at the top of your screen. When you view the list of servers, the challenge moon servers will be marked purple with a "Challenge" text overlay. You may enter the lobby immediately by selecting the "Join" option.

Best Strategies For Challenge Moons In Lethal Company

Since you only have one day to gather as many scraps from the challenge moon as possible, being well-prepared will put you ahead of most players. Even though the moons will change every week, the basic approach will remain the same in each case. To obtain more scraps and go up the leaderboard, you need to be aware of the following tips and strategies:

• One of the eight moons from the main game mode will resemble the map's exterior and the facility's overall layout. As a result, the main entrance will be located in the exact location as it is on regular moons. The only things that will change are the values, monster and scrap spawn rates, and facility layout.
• You may see the moon's weather before you arrive, just as in regular game mode. Be aware of the weather conditions and take precautions against any potential threats.
• Each participant will start the game with a randomly assigned sum of money. Make the most of it by purchasing the items you need from the store before entering.
