Palworld’s Feybreak Update: Feybreak Island & New Weapon

Palworld’s latest Feybreak update features a new weapon for their Terraria collab, a new island, mechanics, areas, pals and more.

Palworld just received its latest Feybreak update introducing many exciting new things. The update v0.4.11 introduces a new weapon called Meowmeow, the first offering from their Terraria collaboration. The update lets players explore Feybreak Island and learn about new mechanics like Expeditions and Research. The update also introduces new Predator Pals, and “Bounty” NPCs. There is a lot of new content with this update so let us dive right into it.

Players can have all the fun right now with trying out Meowmeow from Terraria in Palworld. For those unacquainted with Meowmeow, it is a “Bullet Firing Melee Weapon” that is a sword that makes cat sounds when you attack. When the player swings the blade, a cat projectile with a rainbow trajectory is thrown at the enemy. Developer Pocketpair noted that this is just a tease for more Terraria crossover content coming in 2025.

With a major update like this one, it also opens up the possibilities of different gameplay styles. New mechanics have been introduced in Palworld. Here’s a summary of each one’s capabilities:

Expeditions — Obtain supplies by sending Pals out on expeditions at the Pal Expedition Station.
Research — By conducting research at the Pal Labor Research Laboratory, you can unlock permanent passives and rewards that increase the productivity of your base. Some existing buildings that increase work speed will now be unlocked as research rewards.

As for Feybreak Island itself, players will be discovering new mysteries, challenges and goals. Plus, there is a new faction that you need to look for on this island, the Feybreak Warriors. These pesky individuals have taken over the island with the power of their missile battery camp. This update will also have players receiving a new raid called Xenolord where they must defeat a mechanical dragon controlling the Xeno army.

Vicious Predator Pals will now appear throughout the world. These Pals are extremely difficult to defeat but those strong enough to take them down will earn rare resources in return for their bravery. Dangerous criminals have appeared all over the Palpagos Islands. Bring these crooks to justice and cash in the country for rewards.

There is also a Random Pal mode that randomizes Pal Spawns. You can filter it by region or keep it entirely random for some chaos. The Palworld Feybreak update adds much more content, such as the ability to create new weapons, the addition of new strongholds and stronghold bosses, items, unique skills, player changes, increased cap level, bug fixes and so on.
