Digital Foundry: Dragon's Dogma 2's new patch improves PS5 performance

Recently, "Dragon's Dogma 2" released a new patch. According to Digital Foundry's test, this patch improved performance on PS5, but it is far from perfect.

In the new patch, turning off ray tracing will no longer have a significant impact on the game quality, and the ambient occlusion effect is also better. The overall look and feel of the model shadow is better, which was a bit blurry in the previous version.

The previously controversial frame rate problem has been improved in almost all scenarios. After turning off ray tracing, the game is one step closer to the goal of 60 frames. The frame drop problem in the main city still exists, but it is not as serious as before.

This is another step in the right direction. I hope Capcom will continue to support Dragon's Dogma 2 and let players enjoy the performance they deserve.
