Lucky Hit: Your Shadow Damage Over Time effects have a (10-30)% chance to generate 3 Essence. Damage from your Shadowblight Key Passive will always generate 2 Essence.
Imprintable Equipment You can only imprint Offensive Aspects on the following items:
・Amulets
・One-handed Weapons
・Two-handed Weapons
・Gloves
・Rings

How to Get Aspect of the Long Shadow

Obtained from the Season 2 Journey

Diablo IV - Season Journey

The Aspect of the Long Shadow can be obtained by playing a seasonal character and completing the Chapter 1 challenges of the Season 2 Journey.

Aspects acquired this way are automatically added to the Codex of Power and can be imprinted on your gear via the Occultist as long as you have the required materials.

Season 2 Journey Guide and Rewards

Appears Randomly on Legendary Gear

Aspect of the Long Shadow has a chance of appearing randomly on Legendary item drops. We recommend farming Dungeons, World Events, and World Bosses if you want to get this Aspect.

When trading Obols for Legendaries at the Purveyor of Curiosities, Offhands are the best item type to select to farm for Aspect of the Long Shadow as they only cost 40 Obols and can only have Offensive Aspects.
