Drops from Echo of Varshan Boss

Out of all the Boss Ladders, Malignant Rings specifically drop from Echo of Varshan as the boss introduced from Season 1. To fight Varshan, you must gather and offer Malignant Hearts, which are obtained through various world events.
Do High Level Content With High Unique Drop Chance
Malignant Rings can also be obtained from activities with high Unique drop rates such as Nightmare Dungeons, Whisper Caches, Helltide chests, and World Bosses. Make sure to track these world events to get a chance of obtaining Malignant Rings.

If you are feeling lucky, you can also take your chances at the Purveyor of Curiosity and spend your Murmuring Obols for purchasing gear.
Keep in mind that the rarity of gear you can get will range from Magic to Mythic Unique items, so it would take a bit of luck to get your hands on one.
