With no better time all year, The Sims 4 has announced their latest Life & Death Expansion Pack will launch with the best time, on Halloween.

Electronic Arts and the developers behind The Sims 4 have decided to bestow a new expansion pack on fans who want to celebrate Halloween in a whole new way with Sims. The upcoming Life & Death Expansion Pack has been revealed (right after EA just announced upcoming plans for the series last month for the 25th anniversary), and this Halloween, fans can enter the haunting realm of Ravenwood, complete with three distinct neighbourhoods, each containing its own bridge to connect the living with what’s next.

  • Three unique neighbourhoods are there to greet fans upon starting the expansion, and these neighbourhoods are unique due to the inhabitants (alive Sims and dead Sims).
  • Explore new scenery in The Sims 4 with idyllic countryside and more spooky options like the local crypt and town cemetery. New events populate the new neighbourhoods giving plenty to do, Sims can celebrate Ravenwood Family Day or the Crow’s Crossing Celebration of Life festivals.
  • Two new careers are available for Life & Death Expansion Pack players: the Reaper and the Undertaker professions are now available (no relation to WWE’s The Undertaker).
  • Mortality and the afterlife play a huge part in the expansion, with fans having to contend with other Sims’ unfinished business and Sims can now even create a living will at the Town Hall.
  • Three new Traits have been introduced: Macabe, Chased by Death, and Skeptic, and a new Thanatology Skill. Sims has a new way of experiencing life after death with a new Death Type: Death by Murder of Crows.
  • The Sims 4 Life & Death Expansion Pack also opens the gates to the underworld further by including stages of grief, introducing ghostly powers, and so much more.
