Hatsune Miku Is Coming To Fortnite

According to social media interactions and leaks, Hatsune Miku is coming to Fortnite. It is alleged to be released on January 14, 2025, and will be featured in the Festival Pass and Item Shop.

Unfortunately, no official release date has been announced. However, leaker ShiinaBR did reveal late last year that we should expect Hatsune Miku to appear in Fortnite Festival on January 14, 2025. Since Fortnite Festival responded to a post on X only yesterday from Hatsune Miku’s official account teasing the collaboration, this is highly likely to happen on this date as the hints are becoming more obvious.

Fans of the Vocaloid singer have also found the backpack easter egg mentioned on X in Fortnite as well. It is located in Seaport City, inside the hotel, which is a nice nod to the fans. ShiinaBR also announced yesterday the names of both skins coming to Fortnite, which are Hatsune Miku for the Festival Pass and Neko Hatsune Miku for the Item Shop. However, Hatsune Miku is expected to have at least four variants. Fans can also expect Jam Tracks and a Back Bling that syncs to Jam Tracks to be purchasable alongside Hatsune Miku.

There has currently been no mention of Hatsune Miku having a featured pickaxe, however, players did notice the recently released Fortnite Crew skin, Durrr Taisho featured a pickaxe resembling a leek called The Greenist Onion. Many fans have obtained Fortnite Crew for January 2025 just to get their hands on this pickaxe for Hatsune. Since it is part of Fortnite Crew, players will only have a limited time to claim this bundle as it won’t return in future. Although there has been no official announcement on how much Hatsune Miku will cost in the store, fans can get excited as she is finally making her debut in Fortnite soon.
