Call of Duty Mobile was a venture by one of the most popular FPS franchises into mobile gaming waters in 2019. It has also stood the test of time and kept itself from being buried in oblivion by staying relevant for over five years now.
It seems like the developers, TiMi Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, are treating players well, with another Battle Royale map reported to be coming to the mobile title soon, as per prominent leakers on Twitter.
Call of Duty Mobile is an incredibly famous title for mobile gamers, especially those associated with the fan-favorite FPS franchise. The game has various game modes: multiplayer, zombies, and Battle Royale, with the last one offering moment-to-moment thrill and action experienced when one sets out to be the last one standing in the battleground.
Many elements, such as maps, characters, and skins in the game, have been taken from previous Call of Duty games and have been appreciated by fans. Now, one of the most prominent content creators and leakers around the game, Call of Duty: Mobile New (@codmINTEL), has suggested that there may be a new Battle Royale map coming towards the end of the year. Taking to Twitter, this is what the account posted for the game:
A new battle royale map is coming to Call of Duty: Mobile later this year, allegedly. pic.twitter.com/suRx4e990s

The account also posted some additional details about the upcoming map, which are all speculations and leaks at the time of writing and should be taken with a generous pinch of salt:

Possibly based on the Clan Wars background.
It is named Solyudansk, according to the comics.
Seems to be mashup of Verdansk & Blackout POIs.

It is worth noting that the mobile video game space, especially for the Battle Royale genre, is competitive with titles like PUBG Mobile and Fortnite Mobile, among many others. When reacting to the above news, fans mentioned how COD Mobile trails behind the competition.
Call of Duty Mobile has already received praise for doing some things like the UI better than its PC counterparts. Now, if the latest rumor of the fourth map joining the title at the end of the year is true and no other map is replaced with its inclusion, the mobile game will have four maps, which would be equal to Warzone on PC and Consoles.
But, it feels like in the mobile gaming market, players are still not happy with the number of map options the game provides:
PUBGM out here with like 5 br maps and we are still stuck with 3, 1 of them you can't even play whenever you want

Some fans also stated that it was refreshing to see updates and new content being leaked and reported for COD Mobile, especially after Warzone Mobile was released recently:
I’m proud of the Codm community, they tried to discourage us during the launch of Warzone mobile, some of us thought codm was going to fade out and we remained strong and now they have no other choice but to continue dropping content

To keep players satisfied, the higher-ups must develop new content for both mobile titles simultaneously, regardless of how challenging it will be for them. And with that come many expectations that must be fulfilled for the game to prosper.
What do you think of this leak regarding a new map for the mobile title? We would love to know your thoughts in the comments below!
