Palworld Update Is Coming Next Month With New Island That Is 6 Times Larger Than Sakurajima

Palworld is set to receive its next major update in December that brings a new map roughly six times the size of Sakurajima, Pocketpair has announced.

While the developer isn’t revealing the name of the new island just yet, it did say that it’s the “largest and harshest in Palworld’s history,” and is home to a number of powerful tower bosses and new Pal species. Beyond this, Pocketpair has promised a “large amount of new content” will also be added to Palworld, with details following at a later date.

In addition to the above update, Pocketpair is collaborating with Terraria in 2025, although further details are being kept under wraps at present. Palworld was release for PS5 in September 2024 having originally been release for PC and Xbox Series X/S earlier in the year. Here’s the full blurb on the game for those out of the loop!

Fight, farm, build and work alongside mysterious creatures called “Pals” in this completely new multiplayer, open world survival and crafting game! In this game, you can peacefully live alongside mysterious creatures known as Pals or risk your life to drive off a ruthless poaching syndicate.
