CD Projekt RED Is Hiring For Multiple Positions On Cyberpunk 2077 Sequel

CD Projekt RED has revealed that it is hiring for multiple roles at its North American branch for Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.

The studio is looking to fill a number of positions for Project Orion, including Senior Environment Artist, Lead Environment Artist, Senior Cinematic Designer, Senior VFX Artist, Senior Environment Concept Artist, Senior Combat designer, Lead Environment Concept Artist, and IT Director.

Project Orion is being developed by a new team based in Boston, US, and back in August the studio revealed that the headcount for the project is likely to double within the next year or so. Michael Nowakowski, the joint-CEO of CDPR, said that Project Orion is “close to moving from research phase to the development phase.”

Back in January, Igor Sarzynski, the Narrative Director on Project Orion, stated that Cyberpunk 2077 “was just a warm up” for what’s to come with the highly anticipated sequel.

First day in the Boston office! So good to meet old friends and officially kickstart our Orion journey. I couldn’t be more excited for this project and I’m sure we can make it something special. 2077 was just a warm-up.

Project Orion is still in the early stages of production and a release date obviously hasn’t been announced yet, so we’ve got a lot of waiting on our hands.
