During the side quest Missed the Mark, you will be prompted to accept or refuse Maldonaldo's offer of turning back and leaving him with the data in exchange for Credits.

Your answer here determines who you will fight in the following event, as well as the amount of Credits that you will receive in total. This will also have an effect on your relationship with your companion, so choose carefully if you're planning to romance them.
