Tips to Beat Bjorn and Bastigor |

|
The recommended level for you and your Pals for this boss fight is Level 60. Feybreak hosts a lot of Pals that are level 50 and above, which can become a problem to players who are underlevelled.
Bjorn and Bastigor have powerful attacks that can easily take chunks off your health if you are not careful. Be sure to level your character and your Pals.
The best legendary armors are the Heat Resistant Hexolite Armor, Cold Resistant Hexolite Armor, and the Lightweight Hexolite Armor. The Cold Resistant Hexolite Armor is the most useful as the path leading up to the tower is a cold area.
As for the Legendary Weapon, the Plasma Cannon and the Rocket Launcher boast the strongest attack among all weapons. The only downside is that it's schematic is a rare drop and it costs a lot to build.
How to Get All Legendary Weapon and Armor Schematics
Before the battle make sure that you give your Pals' HP, Attack, and Defense by sacrificing Pal Souls to a nearby Statue of Power.
The stats boosted is percentage based so the higher level the Pal you upgrade, the more bonus it gets.

Bastigor is a Ice-type Pal and is weak to Fire-type Skills. It is recommended that your party lineup consists mostly of Pals that have Fire type skills such as Fire Ball and Brawn Impact.
One important Pal that is crucial to this lineup is Jormuntide Ignis. This Pal can equip three Fire-type Active Skills, and has a Partner Skill that boosts fire-type damage when mounted.
List of Fire Element Type Pals
Passive Skill | Positive Effect | Negative Effect | Tier |
---|---|---|---|
Flame Emperor | 20% increase to Fire attack damage | Tier +3 |
Flame Emperor is a Passive Skill that boosts your Fire-type damage. This can be passed down via breeding. However, the chances of getting them are not 100% and may require several attempts.
How to Chain Breed Passive Skills
Catching Legendary Pals and using them in the battle or getting their Legend Passive endowed to Pals through breeding will be a great help in making this battle easier.
The Legend Passive boosts the Pals' attack and defense by 20%.
List of All Legendary Pals and Locations
Bastigor has a variety of ranged attacks that can easily be avoided by hiding behind walls.
However, player's should not play too close to the edge, as this can cause players to get stuck in a corner after which Bastigor can pounce on the player and freeze them. Kite Bastigor around a pillar and make your way back into the center of the arena.
A lot of Bastigor's attacks utilize the area the player is standing on. Bastigor marks areas before detonating them, sometimes in small spots or in a large AOE around him. Scoping in with your gun and dodging will trigger an enhanced evade, moving the player farther than a standard combat roll.
One strategy for defeating this boss is allowing your Pal to take aggro, while firing at Bjorn from a safe distance. Playing away from your pal will allow Bastigor's attention to be split, switching between you and your Pal.
Your Pal can also be called back and thrown out if you wish to mount it. Pressing E twice will cause your pal to relocate next to you.
