The Ultra version of Xenolord has even more HP—a whopping 1,964,000 HP—but still only has a battle timer of 10 minutes. It also has the same drops as the regular Xenolord, except for the exclusive Xenolord's Head headgear armor.

Every now and then, Xenolord will call down meteor, which will land around him. These meteors will spawn Xenogards and Xenovaders. Taking them down is important, as you risk being overrun if you let them be.

How to Start the Xenolord Raid

Craft a Xenolord Slab

You will need to craft a Xenolord Slab by using four (4) Xenolord Slab Fragments in order to initiate a battle with Xenolord. While it can be challenged as soon as you get to Feybreak levels, it is recommended to be at least Level 60 with significant investment before you challenge Xenolord.

Where to Find Xenolord Slab Fragments

You can find Xenolord Slab Fragments as rewards in dungeons located in Feybreak. You can also get Blazamut Ryu Slab Fragments in the same dungeons.

Use The Slab on a Summoning Altar

In order to initiate any Raid Boss battle, you need to have the Summoning Altar in a base. It can be unlocked in the Technologies Tab once you reach Level 33. Note that the Summoning Altar can only be used once, so have the materials at the ready in a chest nearby.

Xenolord is the Most Difficult Raid Right Now

Xenolord is perhaps the most difficult raid in the game right now, even more so when you fight his Ultra version. From his extremely high HP to his continuous attacks, a single mistake can easily deplete your and your Pal's HP.

You need to have a Frostallion with amazing investment for this build. By attacking while mounted, you can infuse your own attacks with Ice Type and quickly whittle down the Raid Boss' Healh Bar with Super-Effective Rocket Launcher shots!

You can power up this team even further if Frostallion and Gobfin all have the Vanguard passive.

Any of these Pals will be great to have in your base to help you battle Xenolord. Frostallion and Astegon are the best choices, Frostallion can reisist Xenolord's Dragon attacks, while Astegon quad resists Xenolord's Dark attacks. Jetragon and Quivern are both also good, as their attacks are both strong against Xenolord's Dark and Dragon types.

Make sure to have all your Pals set up before you summon the Boss.

The best Armor to use in general are the Hexolite Helmet and Lightweight Hexolite Armor introduced during the recent Feybreak update. If you have the Legendary Schematics for these, you can craft those instead. Equipping the Attack Pendant will increase your damage, while the new boots will increase your mobility.

Best Weapons and Items to Have for Xenolord Raid

Best Items and Weapons to Carry

The best weapons to carry are the Laser Gatling Gun and the Rocket Launcher. The Gatling Gun is great for continuous damage, while the Rocket Launcher's high damage and AoE capabilities makes it perfect for dealing with the Xenogards and Xenovaders. If you have the Legendary Schematics for these, you can craft those instead.

Alternatively, you can bring the Poison Arrow Crossbow with Poison Arrows, as they are amazing at whittling down bosses due how Poison damage scales based on Max HP. While not necessary, having a Melee Weapon like the Beam Sword is also pretty useful.

General Raid Tips

You Cannot Catch the Raid Boss

Try as much as you want, you can't catch Xenolord by conventional means. You need to defeat it and you can obtain an Egg containing Xenolord as a reward for clearing the raid instead!
How to Hatch Eggs Fast

Fight Xenolord in an Empty Base

An easy way to take down Xenolord is by locking him in one of their attack animations. To do this, build your Palbox and Summoning Altar in a wide open space. After summoning Xenolord, immediately run away from your Palbox's base radius.

Once you are sufficiently far enough, Xenolord will start performing Cosmic Meteor, in which they fly into the air to rain down meteors before crashing down into the ground. As long as you stay sufficiently far from the Palbox and from Xenolord, he will repeat this move over and over again while targeting the Palbox, which can withstand all of the damage.

While Xenolord is distracted, shoot them with your ranged weapons. They are vulnerable to attack while shooting projectiles, and while preparing to fly into the air again. If you do this tactic, it is safe to ignore the Xenovaders and Xenogards that Xenolord summons as long as you keep your distance.

Build a Base Dedicated to Raids

Alternatively, building a Base specifically for Raids will be very useful so you don't destroy yours or other people's Bases that took investment in building. Try to find an area with structures that you can hide behind to heal or reload your weapons like the Desolate Churches.

Summoning Altars Can Only be Used Once

Summoning Altars can only be used once which makes it a chore especially if you have a base dedicated to it. A trick you can do is build storage as close as you can to the Pal Box so you don't have to lug around so much materials!

Use Technology Built for Combat

After deciding where to put your base, you can then place structures like the Mounted Machine Guns and Missile Launchers so your weaker Pals can contribute without immediately succumbing to the Raid Boss' onslaught.

Best Technology to Unlock First

Make Use of Burning and Poison Damage

Burning and Poison damage can quickly whittle down any Pal due to its ability to deal damage that scales off the enemies' HP Stat. Meaning, the higher the HP the enemy has, the bigger the damage the status will deal to the Boss!

Play With Friends

Another way to make the Raid easier is to join in on other people within your server. This raid is no easy feat to accomplish and having friends will make this easier.
