The recommended level for this boss battle is Level 50. This is currently the last level in the tech tree, so this fight will expect you to have some of the best Pals and equipment in the game.
Make sure that all your Pals are level 50 as well as chances are you will be needing all of them during the fight.
Construct an Electric Medicine Workbench to unlock the Memory Wiping Medicine. This item will allow you to reassign the stat points you have acquired so far.
Allocate your stat points to Attack, HP, and Defense. How you split them will depend on you as a player. For example, if you are confident with your dodging, allocating most of the points to Attack would be ideal.
Legendary weapons and armor are significantly improved versions of common gear, having higher stats. However, they can be hard to acquire, and the cost to craft them can increase by as much as 5-10 times.
They have a low chance of dropping when killing or catching specific Alpha Bosses.
How to Farm Legendary Schematics
Make sure to equip your character with accessories, as well, that provide bonus stats related to combat as well. This is the hardest boss in the game, so every point you can raise will help.
Some dishes will provide temporary buffs to your stats after consuming them. However, food buffs do not stack even if it's for different stats, so you'll have to choose which one you prefer the most.
Food | Effect |
---|---|
Rushoar Hot Dog | Thick sausage wedged between warm buns. The crisply seared meat and spicy flavors are to die for. Eat to increase Defense by +20% for a period of time. |
Eikthyrdeer Loco Moco | Thick hamburger steak accented with a creamy fried egg. This sublime combination brings pure joy to the mouths of those who eat it. Eat to increase Attack by +20% for a period of time. |
Eikthyrdeer Stew | A tender, melt-in-your-mouth venison stew crafted with love. The intertwining flavors of vegetables and meat create a harmonious blend that brings out a comforting richness. Eat to increase Defense by +20% for a period of time. |
Mozzarina Cheeseburger | Now with cheese, this dish has reached the highest level of fine cuisine. Eat to increase Attack by +20% and stay full longer for a period of time. |
You can bring all the artillery you can, but what will make or break this battle is if you can last long enough to deal the needed damage. And to survive, you'll have to learn to dodge their attacks and avoid taking any hits.
Enemies have weak spots that when targeted will deal additional damage. This damage will be presented in a larger font size and an orange color. For Victor and Shadowbeak, their weak spot is Shadowbeak's face.
Shadowbeak is a Dark Element Pal meaning it is weak to Dragon-type attacks! Dragon-type Pals will also resist Dark-type attacks, which means your pal will last longer in the battle.
Passive Skill | Positive Effect | Negative Effect | Tier |
---|---|---|---|
Blood of the Dragon | 10% increase to Dragon attack damage | - | Tier +1 |
Cheery | 10% decrease to incoming Dark damage | - | Tier +1 |
Divine Dragon | 20% increase to Dragon attack damage | - | Tier +3 |
Multiple strong passives can be used in this fight. You can look for Blood of the Dragon and Divine Dragon to boost Dragon damage and Cheery to decrease incoming Dark damage.
Alternatively, with trial and error, you can breed the perfect pal. When breeding, child pals can inherit up to four (4) Passive Skills from the passive skills pool of the (2) two parent Pals.
How to Chain Breed Passive Skills
Partner Skill | Description | Pal |
---|---|---|
Wriggling Weasel | Increases the player's attack significantly and changes the player's damage type to Dragon while mounting Chillet. | Chillet |
Sky Dragon's Affection | Increases the Dragon damage dealt by the player and Quivern while mounted. Enables Quivern to be mounted. | Quivern |
Certain pals have Partner Skills that can either boost the damage dealt by elemental moves or convert your attacks to a specific type to deal additional damage.
Another way to get significantly stronger is by upgrading your Pal's stats.
By sacrificing Pal Souls at a Statue of Power, you'll be able to give a bonus to either their Max HP, Attack, Defense, or even their Work Speed.
This stat boost is calculated percentage based, meaning that Pals with high base stats benefit from this more than ones with low stats.
By combining multiple Pals of the same species at the Pal Essence Condenser, you will be able to increase their base stats and Partner Skill level.
This is a very important process for the late game because it's the only way to increase a Partner Skill's power, and a base stat increase synergizes well with the Statue of Power's stat boost.
