Tips to Beat Marcus and Faleris |

The recommended level for this boss battle is Level 45. This is very near the end of the tech tree, so this fight will expect you to have some of the best Pals and equipment in the game.
If you're having trouble with this boss, consider increasing your level to Level 50. This should give you a general increase in stats, making this fight easier, and key Technology breakpoints that unlock upgraded equipment like the Rocket Launcher and Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armour and Helm.
At this level, the best way to farm XP would be to defeat Lv. 45+ Alpha Pals either in Dungeons or out in the overworld.
Legendary weapons and armor are significantly improved versions of common gear, having higher stats. However, they can be hard to acquire, and the cost to craft them can increase by as much as 5-10 times.
They have a low chance of dropping when killing or catching specific Alpha Bosses.
How to Farm Legendary Schematics
Make sure to equip your character with accessories, as well, that provide bonus stats related to combat as well. The tower bosses are the toughest enemies in the game, so every point you can raise will help.
Some of Felaris' ranged attacks target the ground with a huge area of effect. Make sure to constantly move around to be able to dodge the attacks when they come.
Bosses have weak spots that when targeted will deal additional damage. This damage will be presented in a larger font size and an orange color. For Marcus and Faleris, their weak spot is Marcus himself.
If you can, when shooting with a ranged weapon, make sure to always target Marcus.
Faleris is a Fire Element Pal meaning it is weak to Water-type attacks! Water-type Pals will also resist Fire-type attacks, which means your pal will last longer in the battle.
Palworld Element Type Matchup Chart
There are multiple strong passive that can be used in this fight. For offensive options, you can look for Hydromaniac and Lord of the Sea to boost Water damage.
Alternatively, with trial and error, you can breed the perfect pal. When breeding, child pals can inherit up to four (4) Passive Skills from the passive skills pool of the (2) two parent Pals.
How to Chain Breed Passive Skills
Partner Skill | Description | Pal |
---|---|---|
Aqua Spout | While Kelpsea is in your party, the attack of your active Water Pal is increased. When assigned to the Ranch, Kelpsea produces Pal Fluids. | Kelpsea |
Certain pals have Partner Skills that can boost the damage dealt by elemental moves. For this fight, you can get boosts Water-Type attacks with Kelpsea in your party.!
You can teach any Pal a Water Element attack by feeding it a Skill Fruit. These can be randomly found on Skill Fruit Trees located out in the overworld.
Another way to get significantly stronger is by upgrading your Pal's stats.
By sacrificing Pal Souls at a Statue of Power, you'll be able to give a bonus to either their Max HP, Attack, Defense, or even their Work Speed.
This stat boost is calculated percentage based, meaning that Pals with high base stats benefit from this more than ones with low stats.
By combining multiple Pals of the same species at the Pal Essence Condenser, you will be able to increase their base stats and Partner Skill level.
This is a very important process for the late game because it's the only way to increase a Partner Skill's power, and a base stat increase synergizes well with the Statue of Power's stat boost.
