Tips to Beat Axel and Orserk |

The recommended level for this boss battle is Level 40. This is very near the end of the tech tree, so this fight will expect you to have some of the best Pals and equipment in the game.
If you're having trouble with this boss, consider increasing your level to Level 46. This should give you a general increase in stats, making this fight easier, and key Technology breakpoints that unlock upgraded equipment like the Hyper Shield, Assault Rifle, and Pal Metal Armour and Helm.
At this level, the best way to farm XP would be to defeat Lv. 40+ Alpha Pals either in Dungeons or out in the overworld.
Legendary weapons and armor are significantly improved versions of common gear, having higher stats. However, they can be hard to acquire, and the cost to craft them can increase by as much as 5-10 times.
They have a low chance of dropping when killing or catching specific Alpha Bosses.
How to Farm Legendary Schematics
Make sure to equip your character with accessories, as well, that provide bonus stats related to combat as well. The tower bosses are the toughest enemies in the game, so every point you can raise will help.
Some of Orserk's ranged attacks can be intercepted by the pillars inside the arena. Stick close to pillars and use them as cover so that you can dodge and avoid incoming ranged attacks.
Bosses have weak spots that when targeted will deal additional damage. This damage will be presented in a larger font size and an orange color. For Axel and Orserk, their weak spot is Axel himself.
If you can, when shooting with a ranged weapon, make sure to always target Axel.
Orserk is a Dragon and Electric Element Pal meaning it is weak to both Ground and Ice-type attacks! Try to use Pals that know moves like Frost Breath or Earth Impact to quickly whittle down Axel and his Orserk.
Ice and Ground-type Pals will also resist Dragon and Electric-type attacks respectively, allowing you to switch Pals in and out to easily tank hits and do more damage than Orserk can dish back out.
Palworld Element Type Matchup Chart
There are multiple strong passive that can be used in this fight. For offensive options you can look for Coldblooded and Power of Gaia to boost Ice and Ground damage, while Dragonkiller and Insulated Body will reduce the damage taken from Dragon and Electric attacks.
Alternatively, with trial and error, you can breed the perfect pal. When breeding, child pals can inherit up to four (4) Passive Skills from the passive skills pool of the (2) two parent Pals.
How to Chain Breed Passive Skills
Partner Skill | Description | Pal |
---|---|---|
Soil Improver | While Dumud is in your party, your active Ground Pal's attack is increased. When assigned to the Ranch, Dumud produces High Quality Pal Oil. | Dumud |
Aurora Guide | While Foxcicle is in your party, the attack of your Ice Pals is powered up. | Foxcicle |
Certain pals have Partner Skills that can boost the damage dealt by elemental moves. For this fight, you can get one that boosts Ice-Type attacks and one that boosts Ground-type attacks!
You can teach any Pal an Ice or Ground Element attack by feeding it a Skill Fruit. These can be randomly found on Skill Fruit Trees located out in the overworld.
Another way to get significantly stronger is by upgrading your Pal's stats.
By sacrificing Pal Souls at a Statue of Power, you'll be able to give a bonus to either their Max HP, Attack, Defense, or even their Work Speed.
This stat boost is calculated percentage based, meaning that Pals with high base stats benefit from this more than ones with low stats.
By combining multiple Pals of the same species at the Pal Essence Condenser, you will be able to increase their base stats and Partner Skill level.
This is a very important process for the late game because it's the only way to increase a Partner Skill's power, and a base stat increase synergizes well with the Statue of Power's stat boost.
