Pocketpair is delighted to announce that the next major update for Palworld is coming out on 23 December 2024. Yes, the Feybreak update is on its way, bringing a brand-new island for all the enthusiastic explorers. This update will also include new Pals, a new faction leader, weapons, buildings, new mechanics, and more.
Pocketpair has revealed that Feybreak’s new island is “the largest and harshest” yet, spanning six times Sakurajima’s size. A trailer at The Game Awards previewed the upcoming Palworld update. It teased a possible new faction leader alongside fresh Pals for players to discover. The update also promises exciting new content, expanding the game’s world and challenges.
Pocketpair has hinted at exciting new content in the update but hasn’t revealed much, leaving fans to piece things together from the trailer. The trailer features some new Pals, a base inspired by traditional Japanese architecture, and a glimpse of what might be Pal-cloning vats, hinting at new mechanics to explore.
Palworld is currently dealing with legal issues due to its similarity to Nintendo’s iconic Pokémon series. The two companies are involved in a lawsuit, with Nintendo accusing the developers of Palworld, Pocketpair, of infringing on some of its patents. Despite this ongoing legal battle, Pocketpair is continuing to release new content for the game. They’ve also teased an exciting collaboration with Terraria, which is expected to be launched sometime next year.
